Leading characters are often way less fun than secondary and supporting roles. Gotta say this: the singing in Enchanted is phenomenal. True love's kiss is one of the best Menken songs and as performed by Amy and James it's among the top best disney songs ever. Some of the best singing at Disney ever, too. Right, for male parts - Aladdin has awesome songs, mediocre singing compared to less-known Prince Edward, Hercules FANTASTIC songs, again not at the level of James' singing. Etc. In that 2 part harmony near the end with Amy Adams, he sounds like a professionally trained tenor, really above and beyond most other male singers/actors in animated disney reainessance movies. Live action - you got Luke Evans recently. Anyway, great stuff.

He is so effortlessly charming. Obviously, he's very handsome, but he also has a humility to him where it feels like he's never just coasted on his looks alone. He didn't talk about quite a few of his movies, i.e. Best of Me, 27 Dresses, 10th and Wolf, and I particularly liked him in Interstate 60. He also has an amazing voice for narration. In the movie Small Apartment, take a listen to how great he sounds when his brother reads his letter (imagining it in his voice) after he died, and also when Billy Crystal played a tape he made for his brother regarding the meaning of life. His singing voice is amazing too, he has such a good range and can sing a different variety of songs. I couldn't believe it was him singing the jingle for Sarah Jessica Parker's "Lovely" perfume ad. James will always have that mid-west high school look and personality.
I fell in love with this guy the first time I saw X-Men as a kid. Only saw half his face and I was like “daaaaaannnng”. Lol, several years later I discovered, on my many of viewings, that he was on The Nanny. I love that show and never realized it was him. Pretty sure he’s the reason I love guys with those cheekbones, blue eyes and dark hair 😂🙌🏼😍🙏🏼🖤
He seems like the guy that looks for those difficult or just unique roles to play for the actual art of acting
I loved this! I really wish they included 27 dresses! It was such an amazing film but still really love James in Westworld and Dead to Me so it was amazing to hear his thoughts on them too. Can't believe I didn't realise he was in Hairspray and The Notebook though! I'll have to rewatch them to appreciate it all over again!
I went to high school with james; we were in choir class together he was a year ahead of me. We called him Jimmy. I was the only black guy in choir lol
Its funny that i can name more than 10 films of James Marsden but cant name more than 7 films of Ryan Gosling, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and other leading actors except for ofcourse Leo.
his laugh is just adorable. also, he's so underrated!! someone get this man a lead role where he's not killed off!
Thank you! It's so nice to hear these stories and actually get a sense of the human part of these actors. James Marsden is so intelligent and cognisent about the industry. And just obviously an all around nice guy with a great sense of humor. Yay!
HE IS SO WHOLESOME AND PURE!! The fact that he was like nah I don’t like being a douchebag 🥺💕. He is so underrated and unappreciated. He deserves the absolute world. He’s is so kind, caring, hard working, humble and genuine.
He is very underrated ,he is done so much different genre movies ,he also should be in more lead roles.
This man has the perfect protagonist face, yet he’s often a secondary character. He needs bigger roles.
I've literally loved him since Second Noah. I still have all of the episodes on VHS that I taped when I was a kid.
James Marsden is horribly underrated
Way to go James. So very talented.
He really has amazing range. He's so solid.
Dated a girl once who met James Marsden at an airport. Said he's the kindest and most humble guy.
