  • Curry leaves chutney powder made by me is very different. Everyone use red chillies for making chutney powder...but I used dried gandhari chilli for making it. Gandhari chilli is very healthy and it never causes acidity. So in Malnad area we use gandhari chillies in our daily cooking also. Please try my recipe and tell me how it is...
    If you are not getting gandhari chilli, you use byadagi chilli and guntur.chilli...no problem..

    curry leaves chutney powder recipe:
    one cup.chana dal
    one or two cup curry leaves washed & dried
    gandhari chilli 1/2cup
    1/4piece dry.coconut
    tamarind to taste
    salt one spoon
    sugar half spoon
    fried chana or putani 1/4cup
    First fry one cup chana.dal with curry leaves...half fried then add gandhari chilli, dried coconut, tamarind and fry till curry leaves are crispy , chana dal also be reddish in colour.off the gas and put putani and keep it to.cool. Once it cool, then add all to the mixi jar along with one spoon salt and half a spoon sugar and powder it ..allow it to cool and preserve it in a jar. It is fresh for 3months. Taste it with ghee during your.lunch, breakfast, and salad dressing also...
