Jealous of you I have had my scorpio mhawk from 2011 and till now completed only 60k. But even then I had to replace the clutch 7 times, the AC never works properly even after fixing it and the window switches stop working just 3 weeks after every visit. A lot of time it even left us stranded on highways and ruined our outing plan. Right now I would much rather trade it for a Qualis than buying another mahindra crap

I just fixed an Ironman nitro gas suspension on my Fortuner today. It’s too good! Unbelievably comfortable and the car feels jacked up like a monster truck with the lift. Thanks to this video for the inspiration!
Very accurate observation So this model did have braking issues due to a weak brake booster and master cylinder set. The ultimate fix for that is upgrading to a brake booster and master cylinder set from a 2015+ model Automatic Fortuner. The same has been done in this vehicle and it makes a world of a difference.
Awesome review. A prepared gen 1 fortuner at 10 lac seems so lucrative considering the fact the the latest generation is over 50 lac for a stock vehicle.
We want more off-roading videos with this Fortuner. Very tastefully modded. Loved the choice of wheels and tyres. Can we have more detail of the upgraded brake booster? Cheers!
More VFM than Thar CRDE. Most Thar CRDEs sold in 2nd hand car market are being sold for around 10lakhs....... instead just get a 1st gen fortuner by saving a little more, better quality, full time 4x4 and 2l diesel with great bottom end.

I have just bought a brand new 4x4 diesel auto Thar and looking for a suspension upgrade with the objective of improving bad road ride quality and highway handling. I may appear in occasional offroading events, nothing very serious. I am not looking for any lift. Among the available options which one would you recommend. I am looking at 285/60/R18 Maxxis 980 Bravo AT. I am told ARC and Profender are good options with Profender being the cheapest option at 48k + installation, perhaps coz it doesnt come with springs and just the dampers. Pls advice. Thanks!

I would be going for iron man soon. But would you really suggest I go for that heavy bull bar ?? Are there any other options ? I do a bit of offloading and my stock numbers are damaged, a painter just bolted them up. I would like to a clean look car with no very bulky bumpers. Suggest me options
The bullbar is completely personal choice sir. Another option is to get fresh bumpers from an old vehicle and trim the bottom part as per need to ensure good approach/departure angles.

Beautiful content.. might sound silly , but what highway and city mileage can I expect from a 2013 ish 4x4 mt , if driven carefully at 90-100 on highways with AC.

Hands down the best gen of the Fortuner sold with FullTime 4WD , which the latest model lacks. Too rugged and has stood the test of time for sure.
IKR part time 4x4 in a ₹ 50lakh SUV is overpriced plus I didn't like the current gen fortuner aesthetically.
