    I probably blinked while there was lightning, because I missed the thunderstorm completely. But then I didn’t watch the video to the end.

      There are always two pilots sitting in the front. On the left side (except for check rides) the captain (he is the boss) and on the right side the first officer. They split the work load between them, e. g. in this video the first officer is the PF (pilot flying) and the captain is the PM (pilot monitoring). At the next flight or even at the landing of this flight it might be the other way round.
      Edit: there are exceptions on long haul flights, where the cockpit crew consists of more than two pilots. On older planes there is also a flight engineer on the flight deck.
