Welcome back to my channel! I recently flew to Paris from Quebec city with Air France on their newly refurbished Airbus A330-200 and I wasn't disappointed!
Air France recently refurbished all of its Airbus A330 fleet and the aircraft now feature newer and modern seats in Business class, Premium Economy and Economy.
As seen in my video, Premium Economy has a lot more legroom and the cabin feels intimate. It made the flight so much more enjoyable!

Nice video! Quick question, does the Premium Economy cabin use the Business` lavatory or the Economy's ? I wonder also if the curtains are kept closed throughout the flight, separating the PE to the Eco ...
hi! Premium needs to use Economys lavatories… and the curtains were kept closed during the flight. The cabin was very intimate!
I agree that when flying to France, Air France offers THE BEST in-flight service. Far superior to any US carrier. If you can, try their La Première service!

Merci beaucoup pour ce « report » ! Je ferai le même trajet en sens inverse dans 2 mois, et j’étais curieux de découvrir en « avant-première » cette nouvelle ligne d’Air France. Le vol et le service semblaient très corrects. J’aurais juste 2 questions :
1) j’ai l’impression que le port du masque pendant le vol n’était pas vraiment obligatoire - ou est-ce que je fais erreur ?
2) avez-vous testé la liaison entre YQB et CDG par Air Transat ?

Bonjour! Effectivement le port du masque n’est plus obligatoire depuis peu. Certaines personnes le gardent toujours cependant. J’ai aussi testé avec Air Transat en Eco et le la classe premium d’AF est bien mieux côté confort, mais le service reste semblable et excellent
Do they offer snacks throughout the flight? I know Swiss Air offers a snack area where you can get drinks and grab snacks if you get hungry throughout your flight.
I do not recall the FA's coming into the cabin and offering snacks, but I'm pretty sure they'd have given me some if I asked. :)
On some airlines (not mentioning any names) this would qualify as Business Class.

Basic breakfast. But the seats seem comfortable. Unless it s priced right, I think Economy will do the job for a short red eye. Thanks for sharing this with us.

The breakfast isn’t really the best of Air France, lunch and dinner are really better

In my honest opinion, Air France has a great premium economy cabin and service. Better than British Airways. Plus you enjoy priority boarding and check in with premium economy. In addition, their seats recline within its shell so the person behind you is not interrupted. The only thing that has been taken out since covid struck is the free selection of seats at the time of booking your flights. And by the way, British Service Premium Economy does not offer any of these benefits!

The new seats ? This is the new cabin for A330, and no, all Air France planes don’t have the same seats
@@Emi_LDA of course all AF planes aren't equipped with the same seats. I never said that. This is about the new W seat. They will for example be installed on retrofitted 777 where NEV4 seats will be replaced as well.

I understand that the seats in PE don't recline, but sort of slide forward to create the "shell". Is that correct?
correct. They are very comfortable
This is an old configuration. The A350s have fully reclining seats that are free of a shell like Delta Premium Select. The A350 has a far superior Premium Economy compared to 777 and A330 legacy like this.
Worst seats ever.
@@williamyqb very few people share your opinion on this very unpleasant seat. They are almost unanimously decried as uncomfortable. They are judged OK for day flights but terrible for night flight because the lack of recline which prevents finding a good position fir sleeping (unless you are very short).
Many frequent flyers go as far as refusing an upgrade to premium economy and prefer to stay in economy exit row.

The business class seat looked very narrow. Maybe the price is right
They aren’t narrow, their shape is designed to create a kind of intimacy, from the outside it looks small because part of it is hidden
I'd be disappointed in the catering. The entree looked like a potato thing, maybe like a cottage pie, no salad, and the "breakfast" was just a roll.
It doesn't matter to me what class or what airline, as long as they fly me to Paris which I need to go desperately :"(

It was so not worth it. Warning alert the seats were so small and uncomfortable. My back ached for a day after flying from SFO to Spain .
I really just wan’tt to voice this out to all the platforms available. . . We booked a flight from Munich to Paris with Air france. . . They had technical problems with their plain so our flight was delayed for 2hrs and they where cannot load our baggage on our plane. . . The only option they gave us was either to fly without our luggage and it will be sent to our hotel the next day or we rebook our flight the next day in hopes that our luggage will come with it. . . We waited for the entire day and our luggage didn’t arrive. . . We wen’t to the airport to claim it personally but they said they can’t release our luggages. . . We are only on vacation in Paris for 4 days, 1 day is already lost while waiting for the luggage. . . And all they can answer is “I’m sorry” and “I understand but we can’t do anything about it”. . . Our whole vacation that we planned for months was ruined and that’s the best they got. . . It really enrages me that they ruined someones vacation and the best answer they got is we can’t do anything about it? Just a side note, it was my first time to experience an airplane do a wrong parking. . .

It was a technical problem and from what you have told us Air France is not really responsible, it is rather the airport staff members. On the other hand, you should know that if you lose your luggage and you are not responsible, Air France can give you another one, you just have to ask them at the airport. I already did that and I think it's a very good service (on the other hand the suitcases have the Air France logo)
@@Emi_LDA yeah they can replace the luggage but what is inside I think they can't compensate me for that. . . It's all Versace, Gucci, Givenchy, MCM inside. . .

Excuse me ? This isn’t business class and Air France do better than a lot of other companies for the premium economy ! I think it’s really cool, big screens a lot of space, leg room, big tray tables, lamp, electrical outlet, and all that cheaper than business.
Was in it today, was AWFUL definitely not worth it.

Worst seats ever.
The worst seats? With leg rests, foot rests, enough recline to sleep with a minimum of comfort, electrical outlets, and large shelves? On the contrary, they are very good seats
I hate those screaming children… even if you pay two times more expensive,you have to support it! there must be planes without children.. I am sûre there will be huge demand…why do we have to support other’s children ?
Next time, take a private jet!
