I was there. This was one of the most sublime musical experiences I've ever had. What an amazing room! Amy Helm and her band crushed it! TTB was cookin' with rocket fuel! An amazing night!
I'm in love with her...I can't get enough...saw them for first time this year and will be making it , at least, an annual event...the entire band is phenomenal...and yes Derek and that slide...he's very unique guitarist, great sound.
Saw them in November at Oakland’s Fox theater attended both nights, was able to my get my youngest daughter the experience of seeing them live both night. Have created an new fan and her friends. My self I can listen to them forever.
Final Set: Shame, Don't Know What It Means, Swamp Raga>Midnight In Harlem, DLMS, All The World, Sky is Crying, Get What You Deserve, All My Friends, Loving You is Sweeter, Unbroken>BfG, Angel>Sugaree, I Want More>Les Brers>IWM Encore: Sing a Simple Song>I want to take you higher
Thanks Relix - great show. I just caught the end on FB. Had never heard of TTB until this evening. Very glad you are providing it to watch here. Thanks again! Subscribed.
I have seen these guys 7 times now, will be 9 by the end of the summer. They top any band I have ever listened to since the 70s (even though I was born in 92). Also Susan forgets the words in Midnight in Harlem and actually looks disgusted haha! Just an example of how seriously these guys take music. They know the power that it holds.

Little rough on Derek's part too, flat G# string and a lot of finger playing between the slide. Seemed like one he just wanted to get through and onto the next. All good! They're only human.
Susan started singing the wrong part and immediately recognized it and backed away from the microphone. She is such a perfectionist, too hard on herself...She cried for a second or two while the band almost seamlessly transitioned past the moment. She tried to keep a poker face for the rest of the song, but she was clearly disgusted. I have sometimes wondered if Derek is a bit hard on her.
@@bkennedy8 I can’t imagine Derek being tough on Susan. He seems to be a very peaceful soul plus she’s 8 years older than him, I don’t think she’d put up with that. I think if anything Derek sandbagged that solo to take the attention off of Susans blunder.
He strays too far away from the melody. Then it deteriorates further into pure noise. It’s not my cup of tea either. Even Derek does something like that once in a while. Play music. (Let Jeff Beck play noise in his old age) Don’t misunderstand me, Derek is the best in the business. And this is my favorite band.
I don't really care for her voice. She does some fancy soulful stuff, but she plays it safe vocally. Much like her guitar playing, she sings all very simple melodies and adds some fancy malismas to make it sound soulful. The band as her backdrop helps her a lot too. The only real thing I appreciate about her as a musician is her ability to sing and play the right notes, which is a bare minimum requirement. It's also easy to do when your melodies are so primative.
I don't believe in fairy tales. She is a mediocre guitar player at best, and I am a guitar player...but some people will like anything she does, and iif she wants to try to do leads more power to her, it's her band, and they would be just another band without her vocals. This is one of those things a band must decide.
@@markusgarvey I'm a bandleader! Not only can i drink a whole lot, but i play 23 different instruments too and i dont even know how to read music! When i swing and sway to the catchy little tunes that i know, all the girls for 5 miles around get hot pants for me. Hotchah!
Amy,the thrill!!so Beautiful voice!from Britanny,France. ❤
Thanks for sharing. I will never get tired of listening to this band. I love their sound too much! Definitely one of the best for me. 💚🤍❤

Amy Helm and band are fucking good!
WOW! That is all!! (Love these guys, and it just keeps getting better and better!!)
Stella version of " All My Friends " Greg would have approved. My favorite Band Touring right now. See them if you can.
Love that Sax solo in Swamp Raga , little step away from the mainstream , fresh air , beautiful transition .
I thought it was....bad. Sounded like me trying to play my sax. And I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M DOING. The rest was its usual awesome self. TTB is the best.
Thank You Relix!!!

Einfach unglaublich, wie Derek bei Midnight in Harlem Gitarre spielt!!!
1:34:08
Tash Neal with Amy Helm?!
acho varum barchecij hargovew!
Susan butchered midnight in Harlem. Never seen her do that
she actually looked disgusted

Grimace Anybody?
Man
Can’t get with the sax player
...mee too...That's what I would sound like playing the sax, like a chicken trying to strangle a cat...seriously.

Why do they let Tedeschi play guitar solos? Her solos are really bad. It stops the song dead in it's tracks for me.
sometimes she kills it but this one was particularly bad
and shes out of fresh tricks, theyre all the same, every blues song they play
I love the band but she is definitely the weakest link.
dat voice doe
I don't really care for her voice.

For the love of god, please tell Susan to stop soloing. Sing and play rhythm, those are your strengths. The rest of the band is killer as usual
... Strongly disagree! Susan is a fantastic lead guitar player.... (at least to my ears)
Dude stfu. She's awesome
Shut up and go away.
