Did u see the article by Athlon Sports on Oregon’s NIL & what Jedd Fisch said about Oregon vs Ohio St being a battle of 20millon dollar rosters? The NIL is made public by NCAA rule, u can look up what teams are paying. Oregon isn’t even in the top 20 in NIL, they rank 21st at a little over 10mil for this season. Ohio St/LSU/Ole Miss/Texas etc are all paying over 20 Mil, with Texas leading the way at 22 Mil… Why does Oregon still get all the hate & lies about Uncle Phil over paying to get players here, when the facts are clearly the opposite?? We got one of the best portal classes this season & we only had to pay half price to do it! Washington is paying around 9.5 Mil for their roster, that’s only about a half a million dollar difference between the Ducks & the Huskies rosters. Ducks are 21st in NIL, Wash is 25th. But yet look at the difference between the 2 teams on the field this season… The Ducks are just doing it better than the rest, other teams weren’t prepared & can’t figure out how to operate in the new landscape of CFB. Those other teams are the ones that are over paying to get players to go to their schools, not Oregon! And yet, other teams fans & coaches keep spreading the lies to make themselves feel better about their shitty little teams underperformance. I can’t wait til Oregon’s 10million dollar roster kicks the crap out of Jedd’s 9.5million dollar roster in a few weeks lol! C’mon Fisch, you’re just embarrassing yourself & digging your own grave at the same time. 😂
Maybe the folks say those things about the program because there exist Oregon fans who write crap on social media about how screwed up everybody else is . Your writing here is one of those offerings.
Most people I've seen put their energy towards the coaches, which is exactly where it belongs. Somebody should have grabbed him and told him that in no uncertain terms, he was to fair catch it and call it good. I don't believe that happened. He comes from a football family. If the coaches told him to do that, he would have.
@ i’m not mad at him. he tried to make a play where he felt comfortable. he trust himself. and as a former returner i’ve done it before it happens. high risk high reward. he’ll be back there eventually just don’t think soon.
Spencer. Brother, I love ya. But Vegas đoesnt work that way. For a guy on top of Duck football, Im a little surprised that you fall into this common trap. Vegas isnt predicting what the final score will by. Or by how much a certain team will win by or lose by. They simply try to set the spread where half the money flows one way, and half the money flows the other way. Put another way, the spread is set based on the greater public's pêrception.
Sure, public perception plays a role. I agree with that Do you think public perception is that Indiana is 2 touchdowns worse (on average) than Ohio State? Or is Vegas trying to give you their opinion on the Buckeyes?
So I've got two takes, one of them is hot. The first is that after hearing someone comment on it, and looking at it again, I realized that for a majority of that game last weekend, we were running the type of game plan we did yhe first couple weeks. And we still beat them up. And my second take, the hot one, is a question. Is Ferguson sure handed? At least with Dillon Gabriel? He seems to be dropping a lot more passes this year. Whereas last year he could make difficult catches galore, I feel like he's been dropping more of them than he catches this year, and Sadiq has been more consistent as a catcher.
What you didn't talk about with those injured players that have not seen the field this year is the prospects of a red shirt, or the benefit Bedford, or Bryant, or Dave Iuli may have with a Medical Redshirt.
Iowa beat Wisconsin 42-10. It was at Iowa City but still an impressive beat down. I don't think the Badgers can stay with the Ducks. My concern is the weather at Wisconsin. It could very easily be colder than anything the Ducks can practice against.
Regarding Maryland: Every opponent deserves respect and every opponent can teach you something about your own team. It's clear Dan Lanning understands this. 38-13 Oregon
We didn’t look past Michigan state ahead of Ohio state, so I doubt that’s the situation here. Its day by day getting better with keeping our heads down and playing Oregon on a week to week basis

Glad the Tez-manian devil will be back this season, love watching that lil guy play! 🦆🦆
I was hoping it would be Penn State. Being able to beat all 3 big programs in the first year world be great
Penn state is irrelevant until they can beat Michigan or Ohio state
If we can beat Ohio state again this season we will have 3 wins in a row over both of the top dogs of old B1G. Probably a first for this conference.
my biggest concern is punt return. people are going to hard on Pellum. he’ll be back there again in the future but as of now i’d say Noah or Limar.

Much love Spenc!
My favorite uni’s EVER at Michigan, warp speed it is!! All in.
Do you think Johnson being out might help dg get better connection with other players? Open up a bit. Maybe some more tight end

I want to see how indiana plays against UM/OSU before i can decide who id want oregon to play in the big10 chip game haha
Let's go Duck basketball starting too
Maryland is often feisty could keep it close for a quarter or two. Ducks so deep
Hope they don’t forget the tight ends, have provided many 1st downs

Bigger question is Alabama gets a coaching change in a year will lanning bolt. Or smart goes to nfl?
@@MrBigdaddy2ya Alabama may not change coaches
@markschulte-b4f they will if they keep losing
I have to imagine Bedford is looking for a medical redshirt at this point
Would love to beat ohio state again. Just saying
Ducks cannot look past Maryland.
