It's refreshing to see a Mario-related content where Mario having a heart and treated Luigi like a brother considering that the Internet did the plumber dirty by portraying him as an evil psychopath or a butt of a joke in many parodies over the years. (And all that because he lost a tennis match to his brother.)
In fact, im pretty sure that IHY portrays luigi as evil, since, yknow, he betrayed the mushroom kingdom and tried to kill his own brother, while mario simply defends himself and regrets accidentally killing luigi despite what IHY luigi did and/or tried to do to him
...You know something, with how familiar I am with the Mario Series. I think I can officially say this. Mario & Luigi are brothers who genuinely care about each other. We've all gotten sick of the joke/idea that Mario hates Luigi or Luigi hates Mario or they hate each other. They don't. Mario, if prompted, would gladly save his brother from danger. Luigi, even if scared, would save Mario from someone. He's done it before, he can do it again and again. Sure, they'll have a rivalry. Sure, they might bicker. But that's SIBLINGS for you. They do that. We all do that. I honestly think that even if Luigi hated Mario for something. The two would talk it out. Mario would forgive Luigi. Look, OH GOD NO is pretty decent horror. But it takes liberties with the characters to make the story work. If you want an accurate story about Mario Horror where Luigi goes axe-crazy. You can't simply make him hate Mario for being in his shadow or something. You've gotta do something different. Because at the core of it all. They're brothers who love each other, nothing will ever change that. Not fame, not fortune, not even the princesses. You don't have Mario without Luigi. Player 1 needs a Player 2 to be by their side. Anyway, if you read through all of that, congrats. You love the Mario series as much as I do. I write fanfiction about it sometimes. Edit: Who are you people? Thank you for this. It satisfies me to know that someone out there remembers that these guys are brothers without a doubt and would always be there for each other. Really the only times they have some kind of rivalry or bicker as far as I can remember is the sports games and platformers which are far more lighthearted and rival oriented then the rpg's. Bear in mind I haven't played the rpg's but from what I've heard I definitely think you have made a very good analysis of these characters. It makes me wish Myamoto wasn't so against stories, because if the kind of depth from the rpg's could be brought into the mainstream platformers then we could have some interesting and heartfelt adventures on our hands. Either way, this analysis has warmed my heart and helped inspire me on how to write a sibling dynamic for some characters I've come up with. Thank you and have an awesome day.

During Oh God No, after beating it once, Luigi should get angry, and Mario can choose to fight, and the song starts looping. It ends either when you "Kill" Luigi or by dodging all him strikes after like 3 or 4 loops. This gets you the good ending. Hinted at by the fact that there is no direct incentive to attack, Ie. You don't need to attack to survive.
Missed opportunity for Mario to say “After all… You’re-a Luigi… Number 1…” Would’ve broken the hearts of many and made even the coldest and stoic of men cry.
I think this should be a reward for not tapping in exe mushroom and more that %90 accuracy. I realy like good endings but I think good ending should feel rewarding
I feel like this should be a secret ending for OH GOD NO, where to get it, you can’t get too high or low, you need a 45-55% score in the end, because too low can cause you to die, and too high will cause luigi to die, so maybe in the middle can let both live
