Thanks Steve...Ive known guys to direct bolt the A-body rear in to the D100/D150 with the right wheel and tire. I've actually been collecting the A body 8 3/4 and 8 1/4 rears as of recently

Nice job, I love the front spring bucket extension. Lowered looks awesome. I noticed you have a rear gas tank. Could you tell me which gas tank you used?

Hello thank you. I actually built that tank myself, used 18 g steel, parts from Tanksinc.com and custom mounted it.

Could you just use the stock lower with those speedway buckets welded in instead?

Absolutely not. The stock lowers aren't wide enough. You would essentially be cutting them in half. The 1/2 ton spring sits on top of the lower, and actually extends over the edges. The van lower accepts the whole spring, and has room to wrap around it. The design of the van lower should have been on all of these trucks to begin with, in my opinion.

What front shocks did you use

I used a Gabriel 34052 Load increasing shock. Had them in a box for years. Plan on using a different shock, just haven't figured out which shock yet.

Thanks for the tag! Nice work BTW! I used an old welding gas cylinder to make my spacer for the front control arms
