- A Silly Parody take on the opening raid of the OVA Gundam0080 War in the Pocket. The Hygogg girls attempt to steal a top secret Grill at a holiday island... Will they succeed in their mission?
This 3 month long fever dream animation was more or less one of my animation bucket list I want to strike off. Base on an idea I thought up back when I was like 18 or 19 to do a parody animation on the opening siege of war in the pocket but I didn't have the skill or animation talent yet to undertake such a project. 13years later, I finally attempted it with my current animation skills.
doing this animation was an eye-opener as it forced me to figure out location and backdrop settings and consistency. I animated "Everything" except for some key special effects helped out by my assistant animator Nyangtofu. Background is still something I'm not the best at and it really drove me into a road block now and then trying to figure out my location settings, but in the end I did what I can.
In the end, Hope this animation dedicated to the Gundam fandom would enjoy it.

Omg, I didn't know I could taste guilt or loss of innocence.
I just found this. 0080 is my favorite series. I was impressed by how good some of the scenes were matched to the real ones. Parts like the Hygogg landing on the dock, how it realistically holds momentum and slides. It's all done so well here with a silly flair.

Holy, this was super well done and a lot more brutal than credit can be given. I'm surprised how good Cold District takedowns looked.
Its an impressive amount of work and the animations are generally really well done! It was interesting to watch with an eye out for background and location. Much respect to the care it takes to accomplish this.

@Jaylyn Flow Bernie is a character in War in the Pocket, the anime this video is a parody of. At the end of said parody, after the mobile suit fight between Bernie and the character piloting the NT Alex Gundam, a federation soldier describes what's left of Bernie as "hamburger" while the main character, a little kid that had looked up to Bernie as almost an older brother figure, looks on in horror.

Welp, confirms my intentions of making my friends watch War in the Pocket. It's high time they suffered like I did as a child.
