@Dale Gribble Nah. Kojima's a good guy, [but] he isn't a saint. While he honestly envisions video-games as a form of artistic expression, doesn't align himself with the greed that's overrun the industry, and truly cares for his fans, he's also full of himself, and unwilling to compromise for the greater good. He also never used to like sharing credit for the work he had any part in, but that side of him has regressed over the years, which I'm proud of him for. Still, regardless of how I feel about Kojima, Death Stranding is super fun so far, but you can't go in expecting an action game. If you go into Tetris looking forward to an Uncharted experience, of course you'll think it's lackluster. The game is strangely meditative, and it's a very unique gameplay experience. It isn't for everyone, but to claim it's objectively bad just because you really want to push the idea that Kojima is some demonic figure is not only unfair to him, but unfair to those who might take your words earnestly and miss out on an experience they might have enjoyed. Even if you think Kojima is the scum of the Earth and you couldn't care less about how you affect him, I'd imagine your hatred of him derives from some semblance of respect towards the gaming community, and a desire to protect them from the evil you feel Kojima embodies. It's either that or you hate on Kojima simply out of spite, which renders your words hollow. And I don't think that's the case at all. So, in that lieu, doesn't it make more sense to let people enjoy what they want to enjoy, even if you don't? Isn't that the most respectful thing you could do for them? EDITS are in [_____]
@@tropichawk850 Recently Kojima said he never intented to make a new genre with Death Stranding although in June he tweeted something that DS is going to be a Strand game. WHY THE HECK? The childish nature of his adventures, the strangely convenient level design, and the fact that he can always take a break with a peaceful go-kart race with his "sworn enemies" just click. As if this entire thing was _made up (oo that's meta)_
The Shy Guys are the Maker's minions, completely upsetting the balance of power and the sheer scale of the Mario Universe. Super Mario Bros. 2 turned out to be not just a dream, but a premonition. Super Mario Galaxy has Mario unknowingly meet the daughter of one of the Wardens of the Universe, begging the question: *what **_really_** happened to Rosalina's mother?* Bowser's strangely unlimited power in Galaxy which he never uses again is suddenly explained: it isn't his.
_it never was._
What lies behind a Shy Guy's mask?
What is holding Dry Bones together and giving them life?
What are the ruins in the various desert areas across the Mushroom Kingdom?
Basically, what is that rampant force of darkness, seemingly out of even Bowser's control?
Will we ever know?
_(let's just casually ignore the entire existence of Count Bleck. Please.)_
Wait, hold on.
Death Stranding is just Playstation Yoshi's Island?
Seems that way
Yes
To a degree yes
Basically
Allot of comparisons but no; point of YI is to get baby Mario to safety, point of DS isn’t entirely clear yet but what you’re doing is building a network to connect humanity after basically the apocalypse.
This makes me respect Yoshi more than I already do
“What in the hell even is this game” - pretty much everyone thought after 1 hour into the game
saruwatari shohei and saying this while crying tears of joy
@Dale Gribble
Nah.
The mixed reviews? Also he asked his fans to support him. Fear of financial bomb? Also by porting DS to PC next year? Oh, don't forget the brazen product placements.

Dale Gribble Only other Kojima game I’ve played is Mgsv, and I know next to nothing about the person, but I found death stranding oddly beautiful and strangely hilarious at the same time
I would love to see someone make a full death stranding parody game with yoshi. This was well done and gorgeous

well damn, you really went the extra mile with all these designs, they look amazing, and that cinematic feel was just perfect
Instead of killing the Shy Guys, Yoshi should've ate them then put them in his egg so they didnt die because the dead bodies would've caused a voidout
Dead bodies don't cause voidouts, what they do is summon BTs. Voidouts only happen when a BT consumes a living person (That's why the dude in the first cutscene is trying so hard to kill himself with the knife)
Well, after they become BTs they'll probably go and consume another person, THEN it causes a voidout
@@landbeforetimeee You are wrong. Don't believe me? Go kill a mule and see what happens if you don't dispose of the dead body (save first).
@@nicholasthoele6520 Listen to what Die-Hardman says when that happens. The dead body isn't causing a voidout, the BT it summons catches someone, and that's what causes the voidout. Same outcome as far as gameplay is concerned, but it's pretty explicitly stated in game.
Im pretty sure they would still die

No, like really, I haven't heard of death stranding but this inspires me so much. If I ever become an artist I may do comics of this or something for fun (for obvious copyright reasons of course). The idea of a Yoshi going around placing blocks with that sci-fi vibe just fits like a glove. The post-apocalyptic vibe aswell. I don't know how to explain what the heck I'm feeling right now.

@@anonymoususer208
That particular scene has some indirect meaning when I constructed it.
yoshi seating away from the egg, stargazing with baby mario, with no regard of what happen to the egg behind him is a sign hes completely set on taking care of baby mario and the journey he has to endure with him.
Cause it’s the same sort of thing when babies kick in their mother’s womb?
@Muse Suse are that the only things that bothers you?
"The "tongue," along with the "egg," are two of our race's oldest tools. The egg to keep the bad away, the tongue used to bring the good toward us. They were inseparable parts of our own flesh. Wherever there were infants, there were the tongue and the egg."
