- Cheese Dragonlord Placidusax with this very easy and simple technique. You won´t have to fight with Dragonlord even with this technique.

As of January 2024, still works. Way easier than all the other cheeses that only work for certain builds.
I can confirm, this worked like a charm!! Counted 15 graves over, plant Latenna roughly inbetween first and second grave, go back 15 graves, job done, thanks a lot!!

Still works July 2024. Worked with a +7 Latenna. The important rule is (as described in other comments): you must ALWAYS stay closer to the dragon than Latenna is. Also: to avoid lightning strikes: look for red sparks on the ground: they show where the next lightning bolts will hit.

just walking right and left will always prevent hits. just dont stop walking and after a lightning, just change directions

I can confirm this cheese still works, you iust have to make sure you dont go back while dodging or he will target latenna and dont go past the first row, i found the easiest way to dodge his attacks was to lock on to him and keep walking to the right to dodge one then the same but to the left for the next and keep repeating that.

Can confirm that at present this is the cheese for placi, +7 latenna did judt fine. And when they say the spacing is important, the spacing IS important. I summoned latenna really close to the placement as shown in the video, basically on the same row. However whwn i presumed to start his fight and keeo my pwn distance i made the mistake of being too far back in the row myself, causing placidusax's ai to see latenna as the closest target rather then me. When i saw her health drop i Instantly fixed my position and resumed the dodging and it was a success within minutes. Try not to be TOO low levelled to be 1 shot by the bolt and if you have a shield make sure its lightning affinity so that in case you do get hit your holding a guard and wont die on accident

Just wanted to add in my 2 cents for Faith players. Ancient Dragon's Lightning Strike, buffed with Golden Vow, Godfrey's Icon, and Lightning Tear gave me 10k per cast. I killed the dragon in 2 & a half.

Geez dude, this works great. Probably one of the best ones out there. Straight to the point and no over complicated conditions.
You need to put Lateena in the SECOND ROW. Then when you get back to your spot, hang in the first row and go back and forth about 3-4 graves. STAY in the first row. Don’t go in. The arena or out to the second row. Very important. I did this with a +7 Lateena and it took a few minutes. GREAT VIDEO MY FRIEND.

12/23 this worked perfectly! You have to follow the instructions exactly! My first few attempts I got got, but only because I didn’t stay in the first row, and my summons wasn’t in the exact spot. After watching a few times, and following the tips in the comments, this was easy peasy! Thanks!

Still working today, failed twice because i stood too far back originally and the bow lady got lit up, put her EXACTLY where you did on 3rd attempt and stood very close to pillars and didn't run around, just dodge left and right, bow lady was full health when dragon died.

I had it happen twice in a row that Latenna was getting killed, even though I was supposedly drawing the aggro. I think I was spawning her too close, which was in the first tier circle outside the pillars. Once I moved her to the second tier, everything worked great.

This actually worked perfectly. At first my Latenna was getting clapped by lightning but I realized I was standing too far back so he would start to agro on her. Just gotta keep close enough to the pillars so he stays focused on me. Thanks a bunch dude I appreciate ya 🫡

June 2024 still work but i had to change the side to put LATENA on the right and not far !!! Thank you very much it was the only hardest boss in my opinion and I needed to see this video !!!

Hey! I just beat Placidusax less than 5 minutes ago after putting Latenna directly behind him in the third row of the dragon graves.
Some lightning bolts do strike behind him occasionally, but in my successful attempt, Latenna did not take any damage in the third row. Hope this helps!

Straight legit.. best guide ever… I left a message for the Latenna spot and if I died somehow, the spot always said “try bow”

As of the 9th of March 2024, this still works. Best cheese by far.
Very tasty cheese!! Still works as of 10/18/2023. I placed my Latenna in the same spot as the video, but was always having the dragon agro on her and kill her... When I moved her about 120 degrees away from me, and ran back and forth on the first row of graves, the cheese worked just fine. The dragon never touched my Latenna +9. Me: lvl 312 currently. First play through.

Thank God I'm not the only one struggling. I felt bad being 145, and dying with me and my mimic/tiche. But seeing you at 312 makes me feel better. Btw, also my first playthrough, and the only other souls game I've ever even touched was Bloodborne, and only got halfway thru that. Guides like this def got me thru my first souls game ever, glad they made this a little more noob friendly. Even with these frustrating bosses.

Man, that was the hardest fight I had in Elden Ring. I fight her for about 30 to 40 minutes getting her down to 5% health and die. Then go do other stuff until the next day. It was so satisfying when her death finally happened

I'm sure they've made this boss harder in recent patches. In my first playthrough on PS5 I was a dex build with bloodhound fang, and beat him after a few goes.
On this run (PS4) I'm arcane focus, but a similar level with dual weild katanas but just cant seem to survive!
As of July 2024 can confirm it works just maintain ur distance from him and do everything mentioned in the guide

20/6/24 and it still works like a charm. I tried doing it myself and I goy to 25% health and almost threw my controller and wanted to laugh menacingly at the boss as it faded away slowly
Worked like a charm...all you have to do is run and roll left and right to dodge the lightning. Latenna +10 .Took around 5 minutes. Thanks man.

Still works 9/2024. My challenge was keeping Latenna alive long enough to do her thing. She was +10 and I finally found a good spot for her and kept the dragon engaged with me. Thanks for the tip.
Latenna never took any damage in my run.

Perfect guide. 15 tombs to the left, stand in the second row grave as shown in the video and place latenna, go back to where you spawned in, make sure after you start the boss fight to stay in the first/closest row of graves to keep aggro off Latenna, keep the boss targeted and keep moving back and forth, left and right to dodge the lightning.
Shabriri's Woe talisman might help keeping aggro, as long as it doesnt cause him to move towards you

june 27th 2024 still works. Make sure you stay on the inner ring of graves face onto the dragon and latenna is on the 2nd ring at 90 degrees to the dragon.. I also used opaline bubble tear and crimson whorl bubble tear in mixed physic at one point. keep rolling backwards and forwards at right angles to dragon over about two - three graves. Lose focus and get hit! Also, you can run straight past the three wolf characters from the site of grace, and drop off the edge carefully. Latenna lost no health
Every single Elden Ring boiled down to combo/AoE spam ad infinitum. This boss took that concept to its utmost extreme. FromSoft boss design took a nosedive in this game. Difficulty for the sake of difficulty.
A thing that helped me speed up the process was a bow with poison arrows in between each Barrel role

Still works November 2024. As mentioned by others here, it's imperative that you are always closer to Placidusax than Latenna is. Placing her in the second row of graves (90° left or right from the front of the boss) you just have to be in the first row and all will be well.
I used a bow to aggro and that was it. You don't even have to run or dodge the lightning. Just keep moving from side to side. Long live the cheese.

works! just go 15 graves and get close to the pillars, the second closest you put the summon then go 15 graves back to where you started and go to the grave closest to the pillars and stay there dodging the lightning

Can confirm that it is still working. I'm not sure why once at half way point it jumped straight at me. after dying and i tried again it worked.
