@@Tulip_bip It would take quite a bit of work. But I don't think they would have to make it change much. In the frenzied flame post game world, just fill it with fire, remove most of the enemies and add some frenzied creatures. Then they could make a Melina fight somewhere in the capital. For all of the other endings, the main thing they would need to change would be the Skybox, and they could maybe add an extra boss.

@caseycox1002 yes but for every ending and for Elden Ring and not DD2. We only get two endings in DD2 vice Elden Ring having 4 unique endings. Really want a DD2 DLC though
6:30 is probably there because they branched off the cutscene map from the Ashen Capital when it was in a good enough but unfinished state to parallelize the work. Meaning when they've copied it some assets were still being placed around. It's also possible that in that state of the map they've used those stacks of tablets to make the resource requirements similar to the finished product for testing purposes. Or maybe there was some kind of weird bug with the tablets or the map itself they were trying to catch.
In Dragon's Dogma 2, there is a secret world state where most of the map changes into an appocolytic version which is fully explorable with new enemies and bosses, which is pretty cool
I'd love if the skybox would change to the frenzied flame after this ending if we don't go into NG+ yet. Similarly, Ranni's ending should change it to a permanent night sky without the light pollution from the Erdtree.
It's interesting that the Frenzied Flame version of the tree seems to have all the outer gold bark peeled off of it as it erupted from within. While it'd be neat to've been playable, it also would've locked a whole unique map into a particular character path, which definitely would've been unfortunate. I'm also wondering if the stone tablets on Marika's site of grace might've been just were they were populating assets to line the room with them. It is interesting that there's a version of that room with a lot more tablets though.
I was led here by a tiny little Gwyndolin on my shoulder that told me to look at a burnt piece of meat. And how fascinating that was. It would be cool if each ending version of the world was playable. I know for ones like the frenzied flame ending, It'd be difficult, but still. I would have never thought about exploring the Frenzied Flame World, I love your content! I'm also impressed with your level of expertise in modding maps, recreating the collisions for this map in DsMapStudio must have been a real pain!
Honestly weird there isn't a post-game of the Frenzy ending. The made a unique version of the Erdtree for it, and seemingly a whole skybox for it, so why not have it stay like that? It's not like it could burn everything everywhere that quickly, we'd still have a map to poke around.
Maybe the stacked stone tablets means the version of leyndel that they used was a very barebones one which some dev had saved while he was copy pasting a bunch of tablets or something and since all they needed was a simple leyndel scene to create the cutscene they just grabbed that random barebones one that they had lying around, which happened to be this one?
Honesly, I was expecting the world to receive the visual changes depending on the ending after I finished. For once. So yes, I'd love to have had the chance to explore the world after.
I know it would be crazy, but having different maps with new content depending on its ending would’ve been incredible. Hell, even one where it just changed Altus or Leyndell would’ve been amazing.
I'd really like to see a video exploring the surroundings of Deeproot Depths and where it is located in relation to the other underground areas its connected to.
My guess for the stone tablets is that they were working on the game, the time to make the cutscene came and so the files for the map of the capital where transferred to the cutscene team as they were at that point in development, probably already finished on the outside but a lot of minute detail on the inside was left unfinished. They did the cutscene, imported the map, then did all of the triggers, placements, and events for the cutscene, recorded it added into the game and then removed all that work from the game but left the map in there, probably to avoid touching something they shouldn't, since cleaning usually happens very late in development.
super interesting. i imagine the world entire of the frenzied flame to be akin to the wasteland of cormac mccarthy's "the road" - bleak and incredibly laden with ash
I absolutely wish the game world changed to reflect the ending you chose, of course that is a monumental task and a bit much considering the size of the game world. Or imagine an option to somehow unveil the lands of shadow and return it to the lands between. Again an absurd thing but nevertheless fun to ponder. Great video!
Thats really cool! Thanks for saving torrent also. I try to dabble with fromsofts maps and objects and I cant fathom how much work you must have put into making the collisions work. It must take a lot of patience.
I'd guess that's where they spawned all the stone tablets while designing the room and didn't bother clearing the unused ones out for this version of the map.
I would have loved a frienzied post game world. Imagine a sequel to elden ring that has dlcs based for each endings and you have to choose at the start in wich world you are.

@@jordyy01 …Yeouch. I always get those mixed up since they’re both part of the same segment of the game, so my mind just groups them together, ya know?
I like the different endings, but in the end the quests and all decisions had not much influence on the story besides a short cut scene at the end. Frenzy flame definitely stood out here a little, but not enough for an open world game imo. Still nice we got these endings though
PLEASE could you check out the lake of rot's stair steps!!! I'ven never seen anyone take a close look at that area, and I've been curious abt it since release!! theyre depicted on the map and everything! Plus, I think that area in general is pretty cool.
I think this map not only should've been explorable, but had a Melina boss fight. Her move set is already even in the game, what with the Morgott fight and all.
Could you take a brief look at all the post ending maps? I’m interested in the age of duskbprne or the dungarees one, where the erdtree is dark and charred, or replace the post game erdtree with the basic ending erdtree where it’s golden once again but a little bit charred?
Er fans: why did they place all these slabs over the grace? Could this be the deepest lore??? Devs: hehe good luck resting at the grace Also fuck YES i would love a post frenzied flame world! After burning everything, you get to explore the world now devoid of any enemy or npc, silent as it is. With only the cacophony of fire cackling as noise
I'd love to know which part of the DLC is the lowest point of the map, Abyssal Woods or St. Trina. I'm guessing St. Trina, but it wouldn't surprise me if the grace before Putrescent Knight is higher up than Abyssal Woods.
Remaking the map for every possible ending scenario seems too hard, even for a really big studio. If this happened, From would probably just change the skybox and add particle effects or special enemies in a few places. Either way, people would not be happy. Maybe some kind of NG+ alternate challenge mode would do?
This one was a little tricky to set up hence the late upload 😅, Hope you enjoy the video as always.

Would love to see the Elden Lord endings, especially Dung Eater's and Goldmask's, the tree variations are too interesting and not mentioned often enough.
thanks for showing us all of that
Someone has GOT to make a mod with content here
From: *gets rid of map collisions for optimization*
also From: *ctrl+v's a gorillion stone_tablets where we can't even see em*
Even if we didn't get an entire burnt world post-game, it still would have been neat even if only the Ashen Capital was swapped out.
When we choose our age the environment should change to that age and the inhabitants as well, frenzy= madness creatures
Duskborn= undead ETC.
There’s a whole second dlc worth of content they could make out of making post-game playable in a unique state after each of the different endings
Dont jinx it ma man ;-;
Gotta love the Greenpath music, despite this being… basically the opposite of Greenpath.
That's Fungal Wastes tho
@@jordyy01 …Yeouch. I always get those mixed up since they’re both part of the same segment of the game, so my mind just groups them together, ya know?
I thought i was watching a Zullie video for a while, if not for the witch absence
I like the different endings, but in the end the quests and all decisions had not much influence on the story besides a short cut scene at the end. Frenzy flame definitely stood out here a little, but not enough for an open world game imo. Still nice we got these endings though
Beautiful
PLEASE could you check out the lake of rot's stair steps!!! I'ven never seen anyone take a close look at that area, and I've been curious abt it since release!! theyre depicted on the map and everything! Plus, I think that area in general is pretty cool.
Check my previous videos I have detailed video on that.
I think this map not only should've been explorable, but had a Melina boss fight. Her move set is already even in the game, what with the Morgott fight and all.
My guess is that this was going to be fully playable, but realized early on that it wasn’t going to work
Could you take a brief look at all the post ending maps? I’m interested in the age of duskbprne or the dungarees one, where the erdtree is dark and charred, or replace the post game erdtree with the basic ending erdtree where it’s golden once again but a little bit charred?
なんか空の色が青ざめた血の空みたいやな
imagine if it permanently stayed in the game like that until ng+
Don't you dare explore my world again, got it?
I always wondered about the rest of the map
Er fans: why did they place all these slabs over the grace? Could this be the deepest lore???
Devs: hehe good luck resting at the grace
Also fuck YES i would love a post frenzied flame world!
They should have 1 billion trillion million years already
This is epic
after radahn meteor cutscne???
Could you put the burnt tree in the main game map? I want to see the burnt tree from other angles of the map 😲
May chaos take the world!
Very cleaver indeed 😁
