while I agree that the sundial textures we aren't meant to see are probably incidental, the actual source of light drifting so close to the center of the room seems very deliberate and that's a great catch. Can't wait to see where you take this.
That's a good point. Unfortunately, the video is ready and will be going live at 5:20 PM EST today. However, I am already working on another video about the sun and the Erdtree. I will definitely take a closer look at the Sword of Light in the next video.
@@Pevigeild_Sage Yeah and what's got me puzzled above all else what possible connection could there be between Rauh, the Sub Realm and the enigmatic white winged Valkyries have to do with one another I've also always just been baffled as to what/who the white winged Valkyries are on they're own, trying to figure what all of these seemingly some how connected things mean make my head spin
Those freaking Astrologers! Always looking to the sky, not noticing the ground below their feet. Nice video, looking forward to the full video! Should be a banger!!!
I think the light source is mainly illuminating the "cleansing" brazier at the center of the Cleansing Chamber for practical purposes. For a stronger sun connection, there's a prominent golden star that can be seen from atop Enir-Ilim, and it aligns with the top of the Gate of Divinity when viewed from the fog gate. The higher layer of clouds is also gold at the Gate of Divinity, though not as bright as the light in the unsealing cutscene.
Really nice observations. Thanks for the video! Regarding the monks, they strongly resemble the Monumentals in Demon's Souls, at least aesthetically. I do feel they share more than just that, but I understand very little of both unfortunately. The monks definitely deserve more in depth look. Also, Concerned Tarnished? Cheers to the new channel! 🥂Looking forward to more of your works!
There is definitely a connection between all the Dark Souls games (DS1-3) even Demon's Souls, and Elden Ring. I feel like Dark Souls 1-3 and Demon's Souls explored the theme of the human soul, while Elden Ring dives into the human spirit. Perhaps Miyazaki wants us to appreciate the relationship between the body, soul, and spirit and how these aspects of our existence relate to divinity.
That room is probably just inspired by the pantheon, the "sundial" is probably just lazy clipping because it was in a spot nobody would see during normal play, and the design on the shield is clearly depicting a completely different structure in a totally different architectual style from tower of babel in the dlc. Maybe the full length video can piece things together?
I don't mean to detract from your theory, I like the rest of it. I just think that one particular detail is probably incidental. Also, sorry to hear about your channel being hacked. I hope you're able to build it up again quickly.

Aye there might be something to the light and stone circle I don't think those textures have any meaning
The Sword of Light may be another thing to look at in relation to the Sun Realm

@Pevigeild_Sage Glad I could help, by the way the Winged Scythe uses the same white light
@nbmoleminer5051 That's interesting.

The longer video explores the divine gate.

Dope channel, cant wait to see more from you!
Appreciate it
I haven't reached the dlc in my newest playthrough, so once I explore the shadowlands I'll figure out who made that sundial.
I'll be eagerly awaiting to hear what you discover. Happy hunting!

You might be onto something. Notice how I mentioned it would be premature to draw conclusions from the evidence present in Enir-Ilim.
Yeah, the sundial is definitely just a bunch of geometry clipping together

Subbed🎉
Oh my god
Thanks for the subtitles because I do sometimes struggle to understand what your saying because of your accent.
I understand. Thanks for the feedback.
So did sun exist before 🤔 what if the sun is GW 🤔
The sun is actually present in the land of shadow. You can catch a glimpse of it if you are in the ancient ruins of Ruah.
The sun exists in Elden Ring, you can best see it normally from Limgrave and Liurnia when the weather is clear.
