In my opinion, She-Ra is a symbol of female empowerment. She kicks ass, while doing what she knows is the right thing. Example: the episode My Friend, My Enemy, she saved Hordak even though he's the antagonist.

So when I watched the She-Ra intro at the moment when she says,''I am She-Ra'' That is the one thing I remember from that show. Oh God I must confess I miss it so much!
I’m 41 and been a fan of motu since 3 with toys and I saw reruns of heman and shera on USA network from 87 to 89 and had them taped from 5 to 7. I had the motu toys and Grey skull. I had a thing for teela, Adora, sorceress, evil lyn, catra, frosta and mermista when I was a kid.
Yup even Demi Moore in one crazy summer, Jennifer Connelly, Lee the playboy bunny bounty Hunter, Ariel in little mermaid, Jasmine in Aladdin, lady Amalthea from last unicorn, Tiffani theissen, Elizabeth shut, Teegra from fire and ice, Taarna from heavy metal (saw this movie on Cinemax at ten years old and was mind blowing), Cleo on heathcliff (everyone was furry for her), hello nurse and Minerva mink on animaniacs and more
So..., a mix of sci-fi and fantasy, twins with alliterative names who were separated as babies, magic swords, a rebellion, bad guys with powers and mooks in helmets. I always liked these shows and probably still would but, are they actually any different from Star Wars?
They are both good. After all, whatever the brother does, the sister does the same thing too because it runs in the family :-)
