Can I make a video on ziplining that is fun to watch? Challenge accepted. I hope you enjoy the adventure. Check out the description for more things to do at Umauma Falls Experience! Thanks for watching!
Booked & ready to go! Thank you for your thoughtfulness in this video. I hope everyone will zipline together during our trip, but if they choose to sit out, it is good to know there are other things to do!🌸🤙🏽
love the video!! all your videos. going in April and staying at the Royal Kona, is there transportation near the hotel to get us there? Not renting a car because everything else we are doing is very close to Kona. Thanks in advance for any advice. This looks awesome.
Just wondering, do you all have a video on best places to get married in Hawaii? Or renew vows? Im looking for 2-3 beaches, waterfall, jungle scenery in your prospective. Who would be a good all inclusive resort to use and best wedding planners so when we come to main land to there, they have everything set up. I have 2 years to plan so when you all are ready
We don’t have that but a good idea. We have ideas on our website! For Maui, stay at Hotel Wailea and they can help with planning. It is an adult only hotel. No all inclusive hotels in Hawaii.
@@TheHawaiiVacationGuide we are trying to give family members 2 years notice so it won’t be soo much on them. This is including children too. If possible, can you do a video in next 2-4 months finding this information out. I’m trying to figure it out but it’s so hard. PS: my wife and I watched like 6 of you all videos and we now changing our vow renewal from August to October because of what you all said.
I second this! Getting married in Hawaii next October and contemplating which island. Thinking Oahu or big island. Still doing my research and these videos have helped!
How are mosquitoes in that area? We're visiting in August but my friend who lives on Big Island said that there's a ton of mosquitoes in that area (and they always seem to bite me!) so discouraged this activity for us.
Probably a silly question but I am going to do this in a few weeks, the group I’m going with says don’t wear white while doing this activity. Does it really matter whether I wear white or white shoes? Doesn’t look like a lot of hiking or anything
Of course! Piiholo Ranch in Upcountry Maui is wonderful: thehawaiivacationguide.com/piiholo-ranch-zipline-makawao/ or check out Kapalua Zipline on West Maui: www.kapaluaziplines.com/
Hey guys, quick question. I had my trip planned in march but had to push it back to October. We have everything booked except for rental cars and prices are craaaazy high. Any idea if they will drop soon? Should I book now or wait until closer to October to book? Thank you in advance for your insight.
Aloha, they don't expect rates to drop till late this year or next. Companies have been getting cars shipped to them so rates drop at times. Book now but don't prepay and then watch for prices. We use thehawaiivacationguide.com/discount-car-rental to book our cars on Hawaii as no pre-pay and good rates! Good luck!
My brother and his wife work for a rental company. Reserve 2-3 cars from different companies without prepaying. There’s a huge shortage and many people get stuck without a rental. Once you get your rental cancel the other bookings. It’s seriously been a huge mess. Just got home from Kauai and we witnessed and heard about many families left without rentals and Uber was slammed. They also will kick you out of SUVs and give you a car if they run out of SUVs/vans.
@@TheHawaiiVacationGuide Thanks so much for your reply We will be staying at the Kaanapali Hotel, we won't have a car. So we were looking for a place we could walk to for Zip Lining. We have really enjoyed your videos for our trip planning
Thanks for the video. I've been watching you guys video cuz I'm going to Maui in September for my honeymoon. And just want to touch base with you guys about the car rental is going to run me $860 for 5 days. Just seeing if you think it's just because of covid or demand?
thanks for watching and the question. Hawaii and the country is going through a rental car shortage. companies reduced their fleets during covid and can't increase them due to the microchip shortage. Prices have been. high since March and are expected to stay high till Q1 2022. They go down when demand dips so book early w/o prepayment and see if they go down. $860 isn't bad right now.
@@TheHawaiiVacationGuide thanks for the reply. I was thinking the same thing. But I think a trip to Maui for my honeymoon is well worth it. Definitely going to pay for it 😁😁😁😁. Another question is what GoPro camera do you use? I want to get a camera for my trip.
My speculation is that all the renal rental companie's CEOs got together (illegal but in light of Covid financial losses, government is likely to turn a blind eye) sold most of their fleet into a strong used car market and agreed to charge 4x the normal rental fee until their losses are made back...... or a bit longer.
thanks for asking, we don't say prices as they can change. You can see all their tours on our website here, toward the bottom: thehawaiivacationguide.com/hawaii-recommendations/hawaii-best-tours-and-activities/big-island-tours-and-activities/

Have you guys done the Kapalua ziplines before? Booked to do them next month and looking forward to it! Will be our first time.
Those are great, best on Maui by some.
Can you make a video on best locations, resorts and wedding planning website to renewing vows in Hawaii
Wow sign me up for this 👍👍👍👍, right on guy’s, love it 👍😎🇨🇦❤️
Great job as always guy’s , keep up the good work / Chris 👍😎🇨🇦❤️
Thanks Chris! Your comments are always the best.

That’s why we like Umauma! Plenty to do for all. Have a great time on your Big Island vacation!
Thanks for the great video! We are doing the Zip and Dip today. Did not know what to expect!
thanks for watching! glad it helped, I hoped the zip and dip was fun!
Well done!!!
I am normally a cheapskate but I would pay $200 for this bucket list adventure.
I usually don't like to do tours but ones like this one in Hawaii make me want to shell out the money too!
Any suggestions for Zipping in Oahu? And thank you for the videos and travel guides. We love your channel 🎉!
Kualoa Ranch is fun to visit for zipping and other tours. See here: thehawaiivacationguide.com/activities/oahu-zipline-course-kualoa-ranch/
“Can we go again?!?!?”
Definitely putting this on my Big island list. Thanks for sharing!

The Royal Kona is a great location, very walkable. You can take Uber, Lyft, or a taxi to the hotel. Or Route 202 on Hele-On bus from the airport.
I have a question which is better Bahamas or Hawaii?
Good to know about the 235lb weight limit.

What type of camera did you use and how was it mounted during the zipline course?
I have a GoPro and I held it in my hand for the course. They didn't have an issue with me doing that.

It was raining when I did it and I don’t remember it being muddy. There are short walks on nice trails between the lines

they have different options for different ages
You look like Sam Harris
A mask on a zip line? Brain washed much?
It was the rule back then on the tour. Thanks for watching
