Trying to make a trip to Hawaii every two years in order to eventually visit every island. Your videos and knowledge have helped me plan both my past and currently planned trip to the islands for my family and me. Mahalo and keep up the great work
We found Kings Land Waikoloa by Hilton to be an amazing and affordable place to stay!! Gorgeous hotel pool and free parking.and access to all amenities and pool parking at Hilton Waikiki a village.
Currently visiting and staying in the Waikoloa Resort Village. Trust these videos. They are accurate. Don’t be discouraged from going to any of the beaches early, low tide, low winds = calm waters for young kids and first time snorkel experience.
We just ordered the Kauai and the Big Island itineraries from you and they are amazing and we’re so excited to go. We will let you know how it all turns out when we get there in January!❤
Memories. I stay at all the resorts there, I do love the Hilton, the shopping center, golf course, I could just live there as well. BTW glad to see yall over 100K subs. Merry Christmas to you Jordan, Erica, and your kiddos.
You can also walk to Beach 49 on the beautiful coastal trail from the Hilton or Halii Kai. It is a lava rock walk but and then on to the golf cart path for about 50-100 feet and then back on the trail which drops you on the south side of the parking lot for the 49 beach. About 15-30 minute walk depending on your pace.
@@TheHawaiiVacationGuide Thank you for the video! I actually noticed after I posted, that in your video you both were on the trail just above/south of the Beach 49 parking lot, and it goes west towards the golf course/coast, where you then go south down the cart path to the southern tee box right next to the lava rock, the trail picks up again there heading towards the Hilton! And literally from the Beach 49 if you go off the sand east up the stairs the trail picks up again between the homes and the ocean. Very beautiful hike, …I believe it will take you to the other beaches you mentioned and were on in the video also. I have not hiked that far yet. Blessings
First trip to Hawaii, we stayed at Waikoloa Marriott Beach Resort. Had a fabulous week! The manta ray swim excursion folks picked us up at and returned us to the resort. We also did the one-day island circle tour, totally worth it for folks not spending many days on the Big Island. Had a fantastic snorkeling excursion with Ocean Sports company who picked us up at and returned us to A’Bay. Sunsets at A’Bay are spectacular! We’re hoping to visit another island or 3 soon. Your videos are super helpful, mahalo ✌🏻🤙🏻
Great video and very informative, just like many of the other ones you guys have done. Adding on to your tips for lodging in Waikoloa, the hotels and vacation rentals you mentioned are great, but there are also the timeshare hotels run mostly by Hilton in Waikoloa. Kingsland, Kohala Suites, The Bay Club, and Ocean Tower are all Hilton owned and/or managed timeshare properties, but can also be booked as hotels by the general public. These condo style rooms offer great options for larger groups on vacation and some include full access to the Hilton Waikoloa resort amenities. Lastly, I agree with Island Vintage Coffee, but especially for their morning pastries like the maple bacon cheddar croissant. Yum!!!!
Beautiful video! I miss Hawaii. I hope the sunshine knocks the cold out of you. Iowa is not helping me rid my cold. I need Hawaii! I’m sure the alcohol in a mai tai would kill all the germs!
Like Erica's new low sexy voice. Do you have a cold? Haven't been to the big island in a long time. Awesome video and information. May have to take a day trip or two when we go to Maui next February.
What a wonderful video! We will be coming for Christmas/NYE which part of the island would you recommend during that time? Not sure if a calmer beach is a thing during that time of year
Doing our first inner island flight (been to Hawaii quite a bit, but always just focus on one island). Which airline Hawaiian or Southwest do you like better for inner island flights with young kids? We are traveling from Oahu to Kona.
We don't notice a big difference as they are short flights. Hawaiian feels more local and the kids love the juice they serve. Hawaiian usually has more direct flights as Southwest usually has to go through HNL. Not an issue for your schedule!

It was a last minute idea by Erica to highlight the two resorts! There is a lot to know when staying in that area. Thanks!
I miss Hawaii. I can't wait to go back.
You guys do some of the best informative Hawaii reviews out there. Keep it up. 👍 Thank you.

Thank you for helping us plan for our future trip to the big island! I've bought from your list of recommended amazon products to show my support :)
Best beach area in the islands is the area between Beach 49 up through the Mauna Lani! That is our 2nd home!
there are some real gems and a beautiful coastline too

Merry Christmas to you too! They had the resorts well decorated for the holidays which we love in Hawaii.
Love the area. Stayed at Waikoloa Beach Marriott several times, and Hali'i Kai condos once.
I love that part of the island, and we're looking forward to going back in '25
It is a wonderful place to visit. Glad to hear you are going back in '25!

You had an epic first trip to Hawaii! You stayed busy! Thanks for watching and planning your trip with us! Mahalo!
Starting to plan a trip for this year. Marriott Waikoloa looks wonderful, but the cost is giving us serious heartburn.
Great video and very informative, just like many of the other ones you guys have done.

that is one of many benefits of a mai tai. scientifically proven, says my dad
@@TheHawaiiVacationGuide Your Dad is a smart guy!

She got a really nasty cold but toughed it out! Enjoy your trip to Maui in February. It is great to hear you are going.

West Hawaii will have better weather. This video was filmed at Thanksgiving and the weather was perfect. Waikoloa to Kailua-Kona should be good.
Great! Thank you!!

Do they have grills at the resort?
Most of the resorts do, the vacation rental complexes will. Call them to confirm!
