I was a teacher as well. Unfortunately, I lost my job at the end of the school year. I’m finally in a place where I can start thinking a bit more creatively and producing things. Losing my job was painful in so many ways, but by the grace of God, I’m getting better.
I’m preparing for a pop up holiday shop now! I hope from there I can get something going on Etsy.

As a stay at home mama who's been at this for 10 months, labored over 600 listings, but still feel slow with 160 sales, it was so inspirational to listen to Shawna and feel her energy. Was very convicted realizing I also avoid doing proper market research and appreciated the (kind) slap in the face to prioritize this! Thank you both!

I’m working daily on my shop. I really need it to work out. I’m currently a teacher and our pay is just not enough. Especially as a single mom. I just want my independence from relying on my ex husband to get me by each month. This video helped me see I just gotta keep going!!!

I’ve been open a little more than 5 months, with 208 listings, and I’ve made 52 sales, which I’m so thankful for. It’s so encouraging hearing from others that started slow. I don’t feel quite as prepared for Q4 as I should, but I’m excited to see what happens in my shop!

I had to pop in here for a quick sec to thank both you and Shawna! I've been binge watching every one of both of your videos since I started my shop in April, and keep up to date with every new upload.
Thanks to your advice and tips, I just had my first PROFITABLE month. Until mow, I've been in the negatives, around -$30-$50 a month. This month, I'm +$250 USD in profit, and over 2k CAD in revenue. I had a lady find one of my listings and ask me to customize it for a work party. She ended up buying 55!!!! And now she has asked me to create a new custom design for another corporate event they're having in November. I'm over the moon!!!
And i really credit this to both ymof your amazing ladies!!
Also sidenote, i decided to gove her 5 complementary shirts so she ended up with 60, because 60 shirts gets the bulk discount with Monster Digital. It ended up saving me $30 by giving her free extra shirts, so it benefitted us both -- she got some "just in case" extras and I got an extra $30 and possibly a better review than I would have gotten otherwise, PLUS a returning customer 😊 win win win win win!! Thank you!!

Thank you for doing this follow up interview with Shawna. Cassiy - I have watched your channel since about a month after you started it...I first saw your interview with the Life Hacker Couple...and Shawna, I was one of the people waiting for your first video to drop. I can relate to sooooo many of the things you both say about your journies. I've had some bumps...big ones...but I'm hanging in there. I laughed so hard when Shawna was talking about being one of those people who has the big shops up on the screen and refreshes and is in awe of how many sales are happening, so quickly. THAT'S ME!!! I hope some day someone is refreshing my successful shop. Thanks for all of the videos ladies...they REALLY help :)
Ooops I forgot to ask my question. Either of you can answer...or both. How do you keep your listings organized on Printify? I wish there was a way to put them in "files." Maybe I'm missing something.
You both have been so inspiring!! Joining Cassiy's mentorship and meeting you both was the single biggest push I needed to grow my POD income and to keep me motivated..
Shawna is right, the first year or so with POD is SO HARD. It was so easy to give up. But I'm so glad I didn't! It has been 2 years of slowly growing my shop working on it very part time, and I recently was able to take my kids overseas to meet family they had never seen because of all the extra income I made. And the best part was taking 2 weeks off and only spending 30 minutes a day processing orders, and the money still kept coming in without me putting in more work. I would not have been able to do this with my previous business that involved shipping out orders myself. /Mel

I love the "Get it sloppy, get it dirty" phrase. A great way to put it... even marketing companies have to put a product in front of consumers to see what they do and don't like. I steered my shop in a completely different direction from what I planned once I saw what was selling.

I started my Etsy shop 2.5 weeks ago and have made 50 sales since. I’m so grateful for a healthy start. I watched so many videos by these lovely Etsy-preneur’s, and applied so much of their advice to my strategy.
I hope to continue growing my store and sales to the level of my reference shops. I can totally relate to Shawna watching the sales count of bigger shops over time, and calculating how much they’ve made. 😂 It’s definitely motivating!

Hi Cassiy, your videos have helped me so much! You are inspirational. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I do realize now though that I was a bit ambitious starting off with a group listing. I spent weeks researching and designing for a group family of 5 t-shirts with each one meant for mom, dad, brother, sister, etc and now I have no idea how to do the variations on Etsy. PLEASE help 8). I've watched many many of your videos including the Matching Family shirts FULL TUTORIAL one but have not come across how to do the variations for the different designs. I am new to the game, 20 year female construction worker, its time to make a change before im unable to use my body when I retire. Do you ladies typically list one product type per listing? Or do you do those huge, time consuming listings with 5-6 product types per listing (ie t shirt, sweatshirt, hoodie, youth shirt)?

I couldn't find a comment, sorry if its a repeat. Shawna mentioned a goal of 200 listings, is that per day, week, month? 🙏 thank you for everything you do for the community!
the course payment price isn't in alignment with wanting to help someone who doesnt have a thriving shop yet. the 4th payment is just to be able to finance it or it would only be 3 payments, When you first started could you pay 225 per month for a course or would you have wanted to pay a 4 th payment of over 200 dollars above the actual price of the course in 3 payments.
So inspiring thank you. I love your videos but I’m too scared to start my shop, because of trademarks etc. I’m located in Australia, how do I know which countries my Etsy shop would sell too? Are you able to please do a more in-depth video on Trademark etc?
Great interview! I created an Etsy shop several months ago but never listed anything. Do you suggest I still use this one or start over and list immediately with new shop? Not sure if having a shop that has sat there for a few months messes with the Etsy boosting chances etc
