    Thank you for having Angel on! It’s so nice seeing two women and with children be able to be so successful! As a new Etsy shop owner, I keep thinking about how many owners are single with no kids and do this full time. Makes me think that I’ll never be able to compete with that. As a 100% disabled Marine Corps Veteran and mom of two under 3 years old, I work every free moment. 5 mins, 10 mins, whatever I can get. I work at night and when the baby nurses. I’ve got 80 listing in 30 days and 18 sales (I opened my shop Jan 1st). I’m hoping it will pick up soon! Thank you both so so much! You’re very inspirational!

    Great video. I'm new with print on demand and have to admit that some days I feel so excited and inspired while other days it feels like I might be wasting my time. Then I see a video like this and become inspired again! It really makes a difference seeing and hearing real stories from women that I can resonate with. It sounds like the key is to JUST DO, learn as you go and don't give up. Consistency and mindset.

What are the all time bestsellers except for the obvious black and white? What is your preferred strategy when first listing an item: to go to many colors or just a few carefully selected ones? Do you prepare individual color cards for your listings, etc Thanks and I hope my question inspire you for another great video.

    Hi Cassiy,
    I love your videos every time I watch because they are easy to understand.
    My questions are about Canva and creative fabrica designs.
    Can I keep selling Canva designs that I created my own unique designs after I cancel Canva subscription? And for creative fabrica designs I read the licensing but some them I don’t understand actually. When creating a unique design using creative Fabrica Is it ok to simply remove the fonts from the design and add my own text on it or changing the design colors adding other design to it?

      @@hayleebrown6524 They will ship together if it's the same print provider but if not then they will ship separate and Etsy's tracking info will get updated with the second items tracking info. Hi, I have a problem. My Etsy shop is on vacation mode and I can't change it. It is because apparently I haven't paid my listing fee. I really want to pay it but I don't know how. My amount due for February is 0.00 so I can't pay anything there. However beneath that there is: 'Your current net profit on Etsy for this month is -€0.49' but no place to actually pay that. what can I do about that? Could you please help me

      Try going to your finances page and then payment methods and make sure the account you have attached is correct for them to take the payment out of! If you keep having issues with this then message Etsy and see if they can assist!

    This was so inspiring - I love your interviews and thank you so much for your videos! I always wonder if there is a reason why we can't find links to your etsy stores for reference? I hope this doesn't come off as rude, but I figure there must be a reason for that. It would be nice to have a point of reference for the things you're teaching in your paid courses or telling us to do online in our own etsy shops. I'm a visual learner, as well, so being able to see the shop that brought you success would be amazing. So it's hard to visualize your success without a point of reference. Just a thought :)

      Totally fair question! We don't share our shops because having thousands of people look at your shop, not buy anything and get inspiration isn't good for the stores conversion rates. Sure most people wouldn't copy the listings, but some people would and others would just get inspired by the niches we were in and do all the same etc. It is just complicated to teach about POD and share our shops. I did however share a few of my first designs that got me sales in the beginning in a video recently! Here is the video if you're interested! ruclips.net/video/doKR185mhh8/видео.htmlsi=FQP1-RGy_ZndybLc

    Hey there! So inspiring. I want to know how she made $107,000 but it ended up only being $30,000 in profit with POD. Seems like she spent $77,000 but what cost so much?

    • @CassiyJohnson
      @CassiyJohnson  Год назад +2

      There are lots of costs like paying for the shirt, paying for shipping, Etsy fees, design software, graphics, and mockups. Typically with POD your profit margins are going to 25% - 30% depending on what you are selling. Don't let this discourage you though, it's all worth it considering she didn't put that much time into her business to make that 30k compared to some people working full time to make that much!

      Hey sorry we don’t like to share our shops on YT. Having 1000’s of people look and not buy really hurts your conversion rates. Hope you can understand and still enjoy the content!
      But if you want proof that this is possible, then go spend an hour looking through shops on Etsy and see how many you can find that have started in the last 2-3 years and have 20k+ sales.

    What happens when a customer orders more than one item from my shop? Do they get each item in a separate order? If they ordered 2 shirts and a mug, they’d get 2 packages or 3? And how can I make it to where all 3 items are in one package?

    • @CassiyJohnson
      @CassiyJohnson  Год назад +1

      Hi great question! If you can get the shirts that they ordered from the same print provider, they will be shipped together. Mugs usually have to ship separately, even if you’re using the same print provider as the shirt. Many times I’ve had to remake my Printify products with the same design but different probt provider, so that orders can ship together!

    You sell 250k using them your only going to make around 60-70k depending on what ads your running Fine quality items and a printer to work with can 4X your profit

    • @CassiyJohnson
      @CassiyJohnson  4 месяца назад +1

      I wouldn't be surprised if that was true but I've never heard it specifically. Many people like you mentioned, don't do any research, don't use good photos, or only ever upload a few products for sale. The people that really put in the effort and treat this like a business, will eventually succeed. But it's not for the faint of heart. It can take months of work before you start really getting somewhere depending on how tech savvy you are and how much time you have. It's not an easy "side hustle", it's a whole business that takes work and time to build. So just depends on if you really want this or not

    • @CassiyJohnson
      @CassiyJohnson  11 месяцев назад +1

      Etsy spends millions of dollars on advertising to get millions of people to come to their website every month! I think they take a fair share for the opportunity they give us to tap into. We just have to find what 1000’s of people are already shopping for a searching for on Etsy, then make better/different versions of that and we can make money. If we wanted to be on a shelf in Walmart and be in front of millions of customers, that would cost us vastly more!
      You can always make your own website and do all your own promotions like running ads on Facebook/google, making videos for TikTok or trying to grow an Instagram following. But no matter what, there is a cost to get eyes on your products. Whether that be with time, or with money.
