Tools to use is 15mm And 21mm deep socket and extension. Purchased the motor mount of eBay for around $23 took about 20 minutes. Hope this helps . Cheers
Hi. That was the right side I did. But if you’re asking if I did the left side no I never did that one it didn’t need it. Did they top motor strut as well. I would imagine a very similar and easy to do either side
@@Kiwiv65 Ive been getting at times a longer first shift....the torque strut upper left mount is alot easier to see and replace, maybe that one is in need of replacement
I have a Buick Lucerne and if you don't replace the engine mounts quite often you'll have hardshifts with the transmission and jerky shifts with a transmission
Thank you sir...
Thank you
If you've already replaced those mounts you might want to look at your bushings upper and lower and control arm bushings might be worn out
Did you ever replace the right mount as well? Just got an 08 last Summer and she getting a little shaky on the highway around 75mph might replace them

What about the transmission mount ?
What about it ?
Do you have a video on how to replace the transmission mount?
@@Eric-um3dc no sorry
What symptomes were you having before you changed this mount?
It had hard Feeling shifts. And you can actually see the engine move quite a bit with the hood up and under a load in drive and reverse .
