I sometimes have a problem of adding a set on my squat when I notice one of the sets wasn't as technically smooth as I wanted. Glad to know I'm not the only one. Looking good, dude. Good luck.
Man I’m in the same spot on my deadlift now. Took a weight that was supposed to be rpe 8ish, and shoulda been, but ended up being closer to a 10 . But was probably a bit down from the previous week which was also my first real push. It was very upsetting, but the data from previous preps show that if I’m hitting a PR at this point I’m in for something very nice on meet day.
Great training video, as always. Stoked to see a prep go well for you. Question, if you wouldn't mind. How do you select your numbers this close to a meet so that you're not peaked too early/burnt out by meet day? You did mention that your deadlift on this prep series is ahead of where it was in previous meets and in those meets you've gone to lift 30+ kilos on the deadlift. Or is that the skill/experience of knowing how to taper off?
we do the best that we can with what we got. we may not have the best prep. we may not have the best sleep every time. we may get sick or hurt or injured. things aren’t all working out like clockwork most of the time, but we do the damn thing. and we do it to the best of our ability. and we will keep doing it for as long as we can because that’s just what we do. we may not always like it but we will always need it
Love that “nap and a sandwich” lives on
I sincerely appreciate the syncing of the plate sounds to the beat in the beginning
I love the intensity in the intro!
Excellente qualité de vidéo et d'entraînement Bryce!
Bonjour de Bordeaux, France
Bonjour de Québec 💪😁
those plates give me a lot of nostalgia of getting into pl with your vids in the strength edge
This might be a sign we need a SMOKE STREAM WOOOOO
Keep up the good work, man! It's only you against yourself. Stay hydrated, cheers! Excited to see what you can do in a heavier weight class.

Those Challenge plates are my favourite thing. Sexy AF.
Which song plays at the 5 minute mark?
Hey Bryce, what shoes are you using these days for deadlifts? Looks like they are just some kind of barefoot trainers now?
Those are Avancus
