My mother doesn't give a single care about my powerlifting and I really wish she did. I would take that over a million dollars I want it so bad. So seeing you be the way you are with your son almost brought tears to my eyes. I'm jealous....
@@flingflangflong7665 mines only 200kg and im proud of that , considering i was a 130lb heroin addict for 10+yrs and im 180lbs now, thats what i love about lifting weights ur really only competing with urself (besides competition) and i keep my blinders on i never really try to compare myself to anybody other than the old me and im always outlifting that guy 😆
it's hard to explain power lifting to someone who has never experienced it... but you did a great job explaining it, and the difficulties that come with it
Yea some people say powerlifting is easy you just gotta eat and lift. Bro you don't know what it feels like when you can't do shit good. When you can't lift that weight sometimes. It's a pure mind game
First and foremost... give Dillon a raise. Amazing stuff from him as always. That dude is talented beyond limits. The part 8 minutes in where you talk about the split second during squats where you question why you do this and how you choose to win that conversation within yourself - you need to find a way to bottle and sell that prospective to the masses. So good man. Keep it up. And thanks for all you give to your channel.
"put a ring on it before moving up a weight class" that made laugh so much. Great work on this documentary. Hope this will lead to maybe a long version.
That part where he was talking about that second you have a discussion with yourself when you hit that sticking point on a heavy squat had me in tears ... I don't think anything can compare to the feeling of victory when you manage to stand up and finish that squat even when your life was flashing before your eyes. I love powerlifting
I recently fell into the addiction know as strongman. Hours and hours of work put into training and eating. Sacrificing my social, financial opportunities. For what? Well my 400kg is simply knowing i can say ive put 100% effort into something. And most people cant say that.
Woooooooow this needs an Oscar award. So amazing and so inspirational. So amazing that your parents and wife are so supportive that is so special in it's very own way. I really wish for you to hit 400 soon at nationals that would be so awesome ❤❤❤. Dillon needs a trophy for this filming a medal ain't ever gonna be enough. You had my full attention from the very first second. I got insane goosebumps. Watching this has 100% strenghtened my commitment and I can watch this before hitting a PR and smoke the attempt. BRYCE SEINSEI FOR THE WIIIN ❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥
High school power lifter here 🙋🏽♀️ Competing in only my third comp this February as a senior, and extremely excited. Hoping to keep training and competing into college, and your video was just so so inspiring 🙏🏼 Keep doing what your doing man ❤️❤️
As a powerlifter that’s getting ready to compete for his first time but I’ve followed a lot of people in the powerlifting community since I was 17 and nothing as motivating and as brutally honest as you. I love it. Keep everything you’re doing up. Nothing but support from Yakima, Washington.
Who would’ve ever thought a documentary titled “The Powerlifter” would’ve given me the feels the way it did. You seem like an absolutely genuine dude and your kindness is exuberant and infectious. You guys did a phenomenal job with this one, excellent directorial prowess by Dillon, and most of all the impeccable timing on the release. I’m making some major changes for the second time in my life, but for the first time as a powerlifter, and this instilled in me a fire I couldn’t even fathom. Thank you. 5 screaming Bryce heads out of 5.
i may or may not have signed into each of my google accounts to give this video more likes. i have only done one meet but i relate to the injury and everything and this video man i swear… best thing i’ve watched in like 2 years
the first thing you said is exactly why i switch from bodybuilding to powerlifting !! its way better to quantify progress and keep a good mindset i think💓🔥
I am so happy I found this channel. Just got one of my videos on for form check friday and can't wait to hear what you have to say. This is pure and genuine. This needs more views!!!!!!!
Best motivational Video.. i view it over and over again... "patience" is the hardest lesson to learn.. its a marathon.. no sprint.. stay calm... hold on.. and you will be rewarded for you discipline
It's honestly moving to know one of the greatest of the world faces the same struggles I face on the day to day. Learning that perspective has changed things for me, and I walk away with a bunch of lessons learned from this. Thank you Bryce, Dillon and everyone involved. For teaching me there's nothing wrong with me and how it's perfectly normal to feel pretty much everything you described. It's so easy to forget we're all just humans. I promise you here, I won't stop until I'm at the world level.
Your words on the pause in lifting and the discussion within yourself transferring to life... dude that’s awesome. I’m coming out of my first year of lifting at 35yrs old. Hit 410lb PR on deadlift for my last of the year. Stay healthy buddy. Thanks for sharing. -Owensboro, KY
I'm so proud of my son Dillon's creative skills in putting this whole documentary together!!
He’s incredible, always remember him that! Don’t have a good relationship with my mom so I know how important is little things like that!
This guy is a next level editor!
Mama Milky Mama Milky plz Mama
very good editor-Bryce always mentions him

That part where you talked about the split second conversation with yourself when the squat bar stops going up, it was an excellent description.
Yup - excellent description. If you lose that discussion - the lift is over then n there.

A powerlifting documentary and the all ads so far have been for pizza......I see you RUclips.
That's just you

Absolutely outstanding!
On a side note, watching this right before bed is a bad idea. I already lifted today but I want to go lift again. #whatissleep
I was expecting a half assed RUclips 'documentary', not real documentary with great angles and editing. Good job!
Awesome video all around! Great production/cinematography and very true words were spoken Bryce!! Solid. Well done!
You guys need to collab already!
Crush melons together.
who the hell is cutting onions? I'm not crying, I've something in my eye
Clicked so fast, man. Only 20 seconds in but I wanted to say congratulations, dudes!
The description/analogy of the squat was just beautiful.

Just don't get fat. Because fat people all look the same, no matter how many barrels you can throw
This is so fucking beautiful, I'm honestly almost in tears. Uploaded in perfect timing as I'm battling through this groin injury.
Excuse me, is this the nicest and most humble dude in Powerlifting or what?! I wanna go and hug that dude!
“It’s not just about lifting weights.” This is a masterpiece.
