  • Ran out of fuel during the tune process, so we had to upgrade our pump from a Walbro 450 to the 525! Here's to greater heights and fingers crossed it all works.

    Idk if you have done this but should be something to look into. It's called the fuel pump drill mode. I did it to my Evo 10 and it helped so much with fixing my lean issues.

      Hp don't really play a factor, it's mainly the torque. But I had a great tuner and extra pressure on my clutches now

    I know it’s off topic, but how long did it take NRG to contact you when you bought the S-Sport 2.0?
    Engine bay looks nice btw!

      Thanks! And it took a couple days. I'm sure they are going to be in heavy influx since it's still pretty new.

      I just had a conversation with them thru email and they responded within a couple hours and we sent multiple emails over a couple days

    Hello friend, I have the same Ralliart and I bought it and installed the pump and the car turns me on but it doesn't want to speed me up.

    did you do any upgrades to the trans? thought 400hp was the max it could handle with stock components

      Hp really isn't a major factor. It's more the torque. There's plenty of 500whp cars, but for torque you typically wanna keep that low. Around 350

      @@TheSnyds not sure if you've seen it yet but evoscan just came out with an SST tune that increases the clutch pressure across all modes, plus you can switch between Normal, Sport, and S-Sport on the fly, no longer do you need to come to a complete stop for S-Sport. they also include the option of lowering the shift points for Sport and S-Sport so the RPM doesn't hag around 5-6k when in those modes (just found out this morning that this option will be coming in an update next week). I flashed it yesterday to mine and I definitely noticed a difference.

      @@jtuite84 he just had nrg ops tune his sst which included clutch pressure changes. Go check out his video from 2 days ago

      From what I read I thought the 450 pump would have been enough. But now that I have the 525 it's going to allow me to increase in hp in the future

      @@TheSnyds I was thinking the same thing, but you are using E85 Which takes an additional +-20% fuel to be in the safe range, most tuners want to have the injector duty cycle under 80% so maybe the 450 was close or over that, it's always nice to have room to grow.
