Ajanta is famous for rock-cut Buddhist cave monuments where you always get to see people visiting so it would be a mixture of people with history (I know you just don't prefer to cover historical place), and Ellora is a whole temple carved out of a hill. Dudh sagar falls is just a wow place, where you get to do a bit of trekking and particularly it is a heaven on wet days, I can relate it with the Aira Falls (a tiny version of dudh sagar) in Cumbria, the lake district in UK.
Also don't mind that old man wanted to help you mostly people wanted to help you but they didn't know English that's the issue mostly they know broken English few words here and there they know only Punjabi and Hindi✌️

There is a place in Glenwood Springs, Colorado where in the 1800s people (including Doc Holiday) drank the hot springs water. There is a place in town near the pool where you can still drink the same water they did. Now that is full on hot "black salt" water taste. It is the only Gurudwara, which is the replica of Shri Harminder Sahib, Amritsar. Also, it is famous for the monthly gathering of pilgrims on the day of amavasya(no moon light). You cant go wrong with Amritsar kulcha..Apparently, it is known that Amritsari kulcha is endemic to Amritsar itself but according to some historical facts , the presence of the Kulcha can be traced back to the Mughal kitchens. It is said that Shah Jehan was presented with this stuffed kulcha once by his Khansama (royal chef) and the King loved it so much that it became one of the staples for breakfast and lunch and were praised immensely by the darbar. That is when it became famous among the Mughals and Nizams and travelled to the northern parts of India.😜

There are part of the LGBT+ community..Transgenders. Now recognised as the third gender. Have been around since ages. We pay them 10p and get blessed. They are also invited during childbirth to bless he child and marriages. They do not find work even if educated but now things are changing specifically in South India. Hence an old custom of paying them foe their food and living.

Sikhism was Born in present day Pakistan Punjab. Pakistan has almost finished Sikhism from its land while in India it is flourishing.
