I am so pleased RUclips put this video in my recommendations. The dress and the video are just wonderful. I love your carefree vlog style, felt very much like catching up with a friend and I’ve just met you. I never thought about making a dress 2 pieces. Think I will do that for my next project. Good job.
This comment made me smile so much! It really means a lot that you liked my style - I always worry when I'm editing that people are sick of the sound of my voice!! Thank you 🥰
What a beautiful dress! I think you hit the perfect balance between historically inspired (people who know their stuff can recognize it) and modern (doesn't look out of place). Good work!
This came out so beautiful! I've been uhming and aahing over whether to get that same duvet cover for a witchy maxi dress... I think seeing your take has cinched it! Definitely here for your weirdness and I look forward to the next one
This was so nice. You are very easy to watch. Meaning- you are funny, smart, a little crazy ( in a good way), and excited about what you are making. I hope many more people find you, as I did. Keep up the great work! Much love from the USA.
Excellent job! Glad to know you have more space. A flounced petticoat will definitely help with the shape. Welcome to history bounding. Enjoying the chatty style of your videos
this is delightful, hooray for the youtube algorithm! love seeing someone else working in a limited space like a room tetris goblin and you seem like someone who would be lovely to hang out with! i rather like your no-fuss, frank and casual vlog style too. instant sub!
What wholesome content! You’re so talented and the dress looks amazing! I also love getting to watch as you begin your journey to dressing in what makes you happy!
Loved the dress. Maybe a bit late, but I only just watched this video, but steel spiral boning can move from side to side which makes it good to use on curves.
Maybe consider a slightly smaller size at the neck and shoulders but with a FBA? If I don’t do that I find the I get weird gaping, just a thought. Glad I found your channel x
ohhhh you made such a beautifull dress amazing .... re you and glass door - i love your statement - "they said i was smart" lol you are so funny you remind me of a girl version of hugh grant hhhh

This turned out splendid.
And i am 29 and routinely open cabinets that knock the edge of my glasses. Thank god for plastic frames 😂
Thanks! Oh god yeah, my glasses wouldn't stand a chance without the robust frames 😂
Your dress turned out beautifully! A nice mixture of old and new!
Thank you! 🥰 It's a good cop out for when I can't be bothered to do everything strictly historically 😝

'Thread vomit', I am glad that I am not alone.
Still happens to me to this day! I'm editing a video to go up soon and the exact same thing happened in that one!
I love ur whale sheets where did u get them I love whales 😂 also I wish I could do stuff like this…
They're just from Asda, they were really cheap! I definitely didn't think I could do stuff like this until very recently so there's always time 🥰

Thank you! I can honestly say I've never been described as a female hugh grant, but as a massive Love Actually fan, I'll take it 🙌
Now you need a ladybird Victorian dress. 😉
That would be so cute!!
