    That’s awesome mate. Big swim. Well done! Keep giving the fish away to the neighbours so you’ve got an excuse to go out and keep the freezer full. And make more videos 😃

      Yeah it’s a great feeling sharing your catch especially with people doing it tough plus the Indonesian fruit pickers taught me an awesome recipe that I now cook at home. Thanks for watching!!

    LOL when that 1st fish takes off with your boat float it is a great bit of footage. Bet you are glad it didn't dive hard on you like a tuna! Ripping fish, that was getting sketchy as you were following it out to sea. Boaty might have been handy ;). Glad you got it aboard eventually. You can tell it is a good fish while you are holding it up and trying to smile - LMAO, Heavy Fecker was it 🤣. Looked like you cleaned up James. that was a fair haul of fish, Spanish for days, happy days for you. I jealous as hell! Cheers for the laughs. Dive safe, have fun!🐟🤿♥👍

      Thanks mate glad you enjoyed it. The water is so shallow they can’t get straight up and down which could cause some serious problems. At least the kayak is easy to see so I won’t lose it. They are probably my favourite big fish to shoot I never get tired of them. Makes it hard now you can only get one because you can pass up a 10kg one and then not see another one. Thanks again for watching!!

    hi again sir , a quick question because of me being uninformed concerning the matter . do you ever encounter stingers whilst spear fishing

    • @jamessakker2117
      @jamessakker2117 10 месяцев назад

      Not really at least not bad ones but I only spear North Queensland outside the stinger season. In NSW we do get stung by bluebottles occasionally

      @@jamessakker2117 are bigger tides better and what sort of ground is better? We tried pressure points last time out and didn't see much at all.

      @@Timbuctoo they do like current and bait. Try drifting the outside of Slade in about 13 metres. They can really turn on there at times if it’s not super clear dive about 8 to 10 metres and stay still letting the current drift you and they will swim up to you. They love blue wetsuits and diver’s that aren’t moving much it makes them curious

      That bottom is mixed sand and low reef. You don’t think you will get anything but it can be great. I like the dark of the moon through
