2011 Ford Focus inaccurate fuel gauge fix

What’s the symptoms of that going bad. Gas light comes on with check engine light

My 2014 will drop to zero miles to empty and then go right back to half tank while driving. I replaced the PCV valve about 30k miles ago but replaced that due rough idle after fueling. I think my issue has to do with the actual sensor in the tank. Hoping I can dump some snake oil in the tank that will clean the sender lol

Try running a bottle of Techron plus and then fill up the tank. My fuel gauge was all over the place and after running this through a full tank....my gas gauge begin running correctly. Cleans out the fuel components in the tank.

I would not think this would ever be the issue with a fuel level issue.

It wound up working perfect for about a month..then right back to the way it was

On my 2011 Ford Focus se my fuel gauge is all ways reading empty I don’t no if I replace the whole thing or what someone pls help

Lots of focus cars have a fuel gauge issue,most people just use the tripometer

@@addismultitasking3504 I noticed mine to start having issues. I was on quarter tank. I filled it up at the gas station and only 7 gallons went in. So I will be focusing on the mileage odometer 🤙🤙.

These cars are known for this issue even after you replace parts to go bad again

I purchased this part at Autozone for $63 after watching this video and did nothing to fix the problem. No returns on electronics so wasted money.
