I own a comic book store. There's never a shortage of people like this. They take up a bunch of your time, always talk in a condescending tone or talk like they think they're an expert, and they rarily spend over $10 if anything. They are exhausting.
*sniffs a third time , Bro guy :"My ninja, gotta tell me you got that Mario kart" Ian: for what ? Bro guy : ps2 Hahah yeah I'm guessing he was coked out too, or whatever the latest snort craze is, funny story Ian !
@Watch Man keyword "serious" Although this is just a segment of the full podcast I think this could be a full 10 minutes show. I think they could even do animation like that one show Shorties Watchin Shorties cuz that's how I see it when Ian always describes the tails.
@@Clay3613 I don’t know if it is viewable anywhere anymore. He closed the business to become an English teacher in either Japan or South Korea a year or two after the PS2 launch.
Seems like the Vin Diesel Bro went quiet after his sidekick corrected him. The sidekick probably got his ass beat or killed for making his boss look like a fool.
Correct. Ninja is indeed use by Juggalos and still is used to this day, ooooooooooooor, they are using the word ninja to replace using nigga. Also, if they did a whoop whoop - they are a Juggalo
@Comedy Room Yeah, well then Ian's the one crying wolf here, not me. Just pointing out the fact that shootings in the united states aren't exactly a rare occurrence these days.
@Comedy Room Yeah, I kind of had my heart set on the senseless violence winding down in the not to distant future but I guess I should stop holding my breath.
When I never heard “What’s up, Brody or Oh my ninja as typical nineties thing. I was my early teen at the time. But, heck I thought it was hilarious because the dude was living his past.
Look at Pat stare stone-faced at Ian while Ian tries to explain someone sniffling after coke as if he has no idea what he's talking about. (While he's quietly thinking "No Ian you idiot you don't rocket coke powder back up your nose you moron.")

The first time I heard ninja used like that was in Leprechaun in the Hood 2
@Junior Sanchez agreed. as a former Juggalo, I used to use it quite often
Pour one out for my ninjas in da hood.
Juggalos use ninja all the time, Ian is correct.
Nothing will ever top a customer sending a letter to Ian asking if he could put his store credit towards funds for the prison commissary.
I worked in retail for years when I was a teenager. Bless Ian, keep the stories coming. I get flashbacks.
I will never get sick of these stories. Keep them coming!

Whoop! Whoop! Ian knows about icp!
Love this one.
I always come back & listen to it
Ninja is used in place of another word. It's used a lot in prison talk
Seems drugs play heavily into the stories involved in "Tales From The Game Store" Keep'em coming!
It bothers me how many times I’ve heard people say Mario is on PlayStation
To be honest this sounds like people are starting to act weird on purpose hoping you'd talk about them in this very segment.
Probably even writing scripts and doing rehearsals to make sure it has the right amount of cringe.
I think you’re underestimating what kind of weirdos show up at used game stores. I encounter them at my local one all the time.
It's possible. I definitely have a weird prank in mind if I'm ever in the area. Lol
@@shinhawk same here, almost everytime I'm shopping there its a free freakshow.
I love how pat Interacts in these tales
Epic intro. Best new segment
When he said "ninja" I naturally assumed that was Ian's way of censoring another word. But to my surprise it appears the guy actually said it!
OMG! I love the intro!
EPIC INTRO!!!!!
Seems like the Vin Diesel Bro went quiet after his sidekick corrected him. The sidekick probably got his ass beat or killed for making his boss look like a fool.

I once said "that God that customer left, ugh". The other guy at the game store said, he's still here. He was just behind a rack so I didn't see him.

I got a visit from the early 2000s and there was nearly a shooting across the street.
