First of all if the cammer was speeding up to block the truck they would've been up the ass of the vehicle in front of them (going the exact same speed as the vehicle in front) second it's not the truck's fault for trying to turn left from the right lane. Video #22 8:43 Kerrie R. - this is why we tell drivers the right lane is the safer lane to be in. I know you just passed another vehicle, but once your pass has been completed safely, it is always wiser to get over to the right hand lane. As you see, those yellow dividing lines are not magic. If someone screws up and crosses that centre line, they don't bounce back into their lane. They often come right across for a head-on collision. If you are driving at 50 mph and they are too, the closing speed is 100 mph which is most often fatal. ILR Car Control School

0:03 You can see here that the ambulance with red lights is barely visible. All emergency vehicles need blue lights. Red can look like amber, and we don't yield to amber.
No buildings around, just a road...how the hell can you miss a semi coming at you when you decide to turn? I half expected to se along cane tapping the road out the drivers window.
Just because you have mirrrors and can see behind you does not mean you dont need to look to the side before going. Look before you go is what they mean and a blind spot is the sides and back where you cant see well. Ie the area in the back of your tailgate. Draw a line from the drivers seat to the end of the window to the end ofnthe trunk. Extend that invisible line out into infinity and below that. Thats the blind spot area. If your backing up be careful. If your merging. freaking look!
^^^ As Sam’s comment notes above, it has nothing to with her blind spot, she did not look out her window at the road lane she was pulling into to see if it was safe to do so! Or, even worse, saw the car coming and declared her right to slowly pull out in complete disregard to the safety and well being of the cammer as well as hers - which in that case, she deserves to be broadsided or rear ended hard. Blind spots or mirrors have nothing to do with this move.
In my Jeep Rubi, there is a door pillar and interior roll bar just behind the driver's seat. If I'm at a certain angle, there is a sizable area which blocks line of sight, i.e. a blind spot. I've learned to avoid that particular angle when waiting for cross traffic to pass.
8:24 yeah it was dumb what the girl in the buick did but pulling up next to her and harassing her is not the right thing to do especially when its a young girl. if i was her i would be quite scared having a grown man yelling at me like that. good on her for standing up for herself and saying what he was doing is disrespectful.
0:57 #3 IDK what they said, no one who swerves into objects on both sides of the road at such a low speed is "OK," they are either drunk, high, or having some kind of medical emergency that has seriously compromised their ability to drive!
7. ALWAYS get your car looked at and get the other person's insurance. Even in minor accidents, you never know what problems might be going on internally.
Most states have laws against using headphones/ear buds while driving.* Most people ignore the law. *(also, don't have your stereo cranked up so high that you can't hear sirens/horns).
The ambulance operator really should have been operating with better regard. If you get a call while at a light, especially in moderator-high traffic, wait for it to turn green and then light up and go. Half of emergency vehicle operation is reading the traffic. Nobody in that intersection was prepared. Duty falls on the operator to drive safely. Code 3 operation does not GIVE you the right of way, it REQUESTS the right of way. Source: I drove ambulances and firetrucks for a living for 10 years.
@@starcachehq agreed. road and engine noise (and music obviously) in the cabin can prevent someone from fully hearing a siren, and seeing as there was an entire line of traffic turning left, i can see how those 3 vehicles did not expect nor see the ambulance pulling out in front of them

#21 Sadly, there are way too many stupid people out driving that think a turn indicator magically gives them the right to make stupid moves. Most of the stupid individuals I’ve interacted with were also young females. Maybe they’re afraid of getting old? The last encounter I had, after the girl performed a self PIT on the front of my car, actually told the cop that “I (she) had my turn signal on and therefore had the right of way.” The cop explained nicely that is not how it works. She persisted to the point of annoying the cop and received a ticket for unsafe lane change.
That's when you tell her that *YOU* also had your turn signal on, so *YOU* had the right-of-way, already established in that lane (which you DO!). The police will know that, but it's fun to watch the others involved squirm when the officer tells them that they're wrong. 5:15 is completely your fault. People using the crosswalk have the right away all the time. Stop trying to make it look like it wasn’t/both your fault. Just admit you screwed up.
@@spamlessaccount yes but if you look at the clip the driver is going very fast and the person probably went out way before the car got there but the car was going so fast and they didn’t see them until the last minute. This has happened to me so many times, when I look ahead and see headlights in the day time I’ll cross but during the night I’ll wait because I know damn well I won’t be seen in the dark. But either way the driver would be at fault if he hit them so technically the driver is ALWAYS at fault unless the person jumps in front of the car. It’s not fair. 8:20 It could just be me, but it looks like there was "plenty" of room for her to get into the lane. Should she maybe have waited another 5 to 7 seconds, yes, but there's no need for you to 1) call her "stupid", and 2) get in a hissy fit. This exact situation has happened multiple times while I was driving, but I didn't think it warranted a honk and rude words. Just my thoughts on the matter.
Florida drivers. My commute includes a section of I-75 south in central Georgia. 8 out of 10 times some jackass is driving aggressively or super speeding it is someone with Florida tags. The other two times they are from Tennessee or Alabama.
2:51 At the very least 99% of the time when someone says "their brakes failed" it's complete dog water. However this video kind of looks like what happens when you lose half of your brakes, likely the front axle. It's the rare occurrence that I'd actually believe the driver. On the other hand it's probably their fault that the brakes failed in the first place due to lack of maintenance.
00:58 I wonder what are the odds of running off the road exactly there and hitting that fire hydrant? Especially in the the manner that they did, bouncing off of the median and jumping the curb and crossing that sidewalk. Weird!
8:35 A hint for you Kerrie, you seem to take your sweet time to pass the other minivan.... but drive on the first lane (from the right) when you can, so you have the extra lane as a buffer for morons who can't be bothered to stay on the proper side of the road. Or you can wonder why they do that and risk that head on collision. People obviously don't learn. Expecting everybody else learns the lessons that will benefit you, is not a great plan.
Most of these cammers could have stopped, or just slow down rather than being confrontational, accelerate, or honk, or ultimately run into the other vehicles. I get it, but they could avoid it all. They can see the other cars far ahead, doing something wrong, and they had plenty of time to slow down or stop but chose to get angry, upset, and ultimately be involved in an accident! That I don't get!!! And it seems that most of the time the cammers are the ones at fault!
Um. Did I Miss something or did the ambulance have the siren and lights on the whole video? They approached the intersection like they should have (cautiously) and made sure it was ok to turn. The car is at fault not the ambulance
4:10 Love how they give such a weak excuse that there was traffic behind them so they didn't stay...... like really turn your signal on, make sure it's clear and move over not that hard.....
Clip starting at 5:18 I'd have gone after the jerk in the Hyundai SUV. 6:39 Exactly, what do they have to gain. The silver car has space and a free lane next to him. Just get over and let it go.

Probably ruined his entire week

05:42 If a clip starts out like this you know the cammer cut off what they did to start it.
The clip before it is the same clip. The SUV is in the right lane and goes through the light and without signaling moves into the left lane but the Cam is already in that spot. the cam honks and the guy flips his shit out on him.
Cammer started it by crowding the suv instead of merging normally.

I can't stand people that cross roads in the dark while wearing all black clothing, it's like they're asking to get run over. Walking with traffic (instead of against as they should be) while wearing dark clothing and not bringing a light is a close second.
1:51 - this crash was due to a combination of impatience and lack of spatial awareness. i can tell you exactly what was going through that driver's mind:
1:45 - im going to make a turn up there; im fixated on the turn (bonus: im unaware of the semi approaching because of the white car in front of me is partially blocking me and i lack spatial awareness anyways)
1:47 - even though i already decided i was going to turn 2 seconds ago (and that would have been the time to signal), the first thing i will do is brake. since driving is all about me, signaling first would be a hinderance to me
1:49 - i will now start signaling because im 100% going to make this turn regardless of anything else. my signal means i have the right of way; i do this all the time and other cars always move out of the way or slow down. why should this time be any different?
1:50 - i see the semi coming but since I already decided i will be making this turn regardless, i will just do that thing people do where they cut into the oncoming lane of traffic and the oncoming lane of the intersection i'm making the turn into. this allows me to take the turn at a higher rate of speed. i do this all the time so this time won't be any different.
1:52 - wow, that truck is moving faster than i thought. but then again, i was really more worried about making my turn

Cars need to stop for pedestrians in crosswalks, yes, but we need to SEE you in order to STOP for you!! We need to 1. See you, 2. Have time to react to seeing you, 3. Have time for the physics of our car to stop for you.
This 5:00 is the serious issue that I carefully taught my children: on-comming headlights can dazzle drivers, and keep them from seeing you, even when it appears to be still daylight after sunset.
1:52- that is one of the best examples of defensive driving I have seen! Kudos to that cammer.
#10 - Cammer being an idiot speeding up to block the lane change and caught it on their own footage =)
First of all if the cammer was speeding up to block the truck they would've been up the ass of the vehicle in front of them (going the exact same speed as the vehicle in front) second it's not the truck's fault for trying to turn left from the right lane. Its not the cammer's fault that the truck didn't know where the hell they were going.

7:30 I am trying to figure out what a "blind spot" has to do with it.
^^^
As Sam’s comment notes above, it has nothing to with her blind spot, she did not look out her window at the road lane she was pulling into to see if it was safe to do so! Or, even worse, saw the car coming and declared her right to slowly pull out in complete disregard to the safety and well being of the cammer as well as hers - which in that case, she deserves to be broadsided or rear ended hard. Blind spots or mirrors have nothing to do with this move.
@@hybridstoatdragon I've never heard looking left/right before making a turn get called "checking your blind spot."
In my Jeep Rubi, there is a door pillar and interior roll bar just behind the driver's seat. If I'm at a certain angle, there is a sizable area which blocks line of sight, i.e. a blind spot. I've learned to avoid that particular angle when waiting for cross traffic to pass.

She had a blind spot. She was going slow as hell.
