Hey there. Just wanted to say that I was paying attention because you posted that dude from Ottawa twice. Is there a special price if we catch the mistake? Just asking.
7:15 This probably won't be a popular opinion, however...under normal circumstances the cammer would be at fault here, they actually started to change lanes after the BMW. Here's where the BMW takes the fault, though. The BMW started in an express lane with a solid white line on the right of the lane. In California, it's illegal to cross a solid white line. The BMW is actually required to stay in that lane until it changes back to a broken white line where vehicles are allowed to enter and exit that lane. What the BMW did in the video was actually illegal, they never should have changed lanes.
7:14 - Since the cammer submitted the clip, I'm going to assume the cammer didn't like this situation. I am going to argue this to my grave! I have been in this situation, but with me as the other driver. I can look in my blind spot and no one will be there. But when I start changing lanes, some guy two lanes away starts changing into the same lane I'm getting in? The responsibility of making sure we don't crash should be the person in the cammer's position because they are in a much better position to see what's happening while lanes are being changed. The cammer here should have braked a little or aborted their lane change for another time. The cammer should have noticed the turn signal!
7:11 No no no. You entered the lane at the same time. You were passing on the right. You moved into his blind spot. You could see him perfectly. Avoiding this 50/50 collision is 100% on you.
There are a few compilation videos out there of deer jumping to their deaths. Most of the videos are from dashcams taken on the bridges. This clip was obviously different in that it shows the aftermath from when they hit the ground.
6:23 Impeccable timing with the deer and the radio guy saying "On the other hand who calls their dad, dear papa like..." I instantly heard deer in my head when the radio host said "dear" papa.
@@entertained... Are you kidding? I've seen a couple video clips of failed missed exit turns it was epic. One driver crashed so badly he struck the median on the right, bounced back and hit the median on the left back to the median on the right like a pinball game. The other videos were either smashing into road signs or guard rails. But yeah, today's culture is SO-O-O in a rush they take that risk rather than taking the next exit and back tracking and add an extra 5 extra minutes to their commute which to them may as well be a 3 hour event.
@@DashCamOutEast It DOES make sense to the idiots because a simple task of adding 5 extra minutes to their commute by back tracking may as well be an arduous chore.
Usually cars DO come with brakes, even though they are rarely used in these videos. They should put the pedal for the horn next to the pedal for the brake. At least once in a while these cammers would miss it and hit the brake instead.

@@maicon_13 Lol, it isn't illegal to pass cars on the right. If there is more than one lane, there is no law that says you can only pass in the left one. It's preferred, but if a car is driving under the speed limit in the left lane, you think everyone should just stay behind him?
The issue is that the far left lane is an express lane and the road markings show you can't leave or enter the lane there. So the guy on the left isn't supposed to change lanes

@@alheadbme It does, because there is a light near me that allows it. There is no sign saying that you can't turn on red just from the right most lane. Then I have another light in the other direction that does say that. So as long as it doesn't say that only right most lane can only turn, then you legally allowed to turn on red.
This is the same intersection I come down from work, yes you should stop and if clear you can make a right turn on red but it’s a double turn right lane the car did not stay in their lane. This happens all the time when I go home I almost get hit but I’m a defensive driver and protect my self against other drivers.
0:33 great driving technique to the Tahoe! Most people would have hit the turning car. And he was able to avoid that in wet conditions in a heavy vehicle🤯
#28. The other driver was in the wrong lane, and obviously has their blinker on. That being said, you knew they were intending to turn right, why try to cause an accident? More than likely the driver knew they goofed up, and was hoping you'd let them over to make the turn. I don't see anyone let someone in as a courtesy when turning from a lane that goes straight. I see them slam on breaks or speed up. Noone is being courteous to idiots that can't drive
7:10 simultaneous merges like that are pretty much impossible to see for the car in front, especially when the car behind is passing on the right. Just a bad situation.
23 - the driver coming from the left isn't at fault, there's no way they could have seen the person from the right moving over in time. If there was a collision it would definitely be a 50/50 blame on that one
Actually they ARE at fault. Back in the late 90s, I was pulled over in California by the CHP for exiting a carpool lane over solid lines. He stated something like the carpool lane's solid lines are the equivalent of a wall, and one is not allowed to legally cross in or out of the lane. In some states (cannot remember which ones, but seen on these compilations) they have plastic poles set up as a barrier. Of course, even that does not stop cars from exiting or entering the carpool lane. There were some sections in California which had those poles, but with the multitude of bad drivers there, I can imagine they were run over and broken over time and were not replaced. The BMW driver was in the wrong as they were not supposed to be crossing out of that lane at that point.
@@ninjafroggie1 Unfortunately, lawyers file lawsuits and essentially bluff opposing insurance companies. As far as analyzing accidents from a civil liability standpoint California laws really don't factor 'slight' speeding (as opposed to reckless speeding) as seen in this clip to assignment of liability. I mean, they would, but the cammer might be assigned 10 to 15% blame. With a lawyer blowing it out of proportion, the cammer would still end up on the winning end. For the record, I am no fan of lawyers, but they are ALWAYS chasing accidents in California.
Kinda sick of people blaming inattentiveness on people "being on their phone". That's just a straw man argument. There are plenty of other possible distractions...
You'd be surprised the number of people staring at their own laps. I saw a girl staring at her lap who nearly slice off her own head. She looked up at the last second and came to a grinding halt as a semi hauling steel girders slowed down and was just INCHES away from piercing her windshield.
I especially like that they say there was an SUV on their left so they had to do that maneuver, but they swerved into that lane so they must have also cut off the SUV in their desperation to cut off the truck. Six lanes to work with and light traffic but the cammer has to almost cause a multi car accident to teach the truck a lesson.
@@krtwood So you have three choices: PIT the idiot that won't get up to speed and can't change lanes safely, brake check the guy behind you and get rear-ended, or cut off the guy in the left lane, but don't collide with anything. Which do you choose?
@@sdgvlkjnasdlfkjawlk All that was needed was a light tap of the brakes instead of flooring it. Getting lightly rear ended is a much better accident than swerving into another lane and getting spun out yourself if it comes to that.
Love 0:20 freak out what happened 3 car lengths ahead of you and proceed to gun it like an AI on GTA and start passing people on the right... Calm down Karen.
I think it was the passenger that gasped. Honestly I would’ve instinctively gunned it too. Most highways in San Antonio are 70+mph. If I see any headlights behind me I’m getting back up to speed.
3:45 it’s comical that you think you were carefully merging and changing lanes when you obviously tried to accelerate to block the tacoma from merging. and he wasn’t the only one that failed to use a blinker
Video #5 1:25 zjhu - there is no excuse to brake check another driver, however my guess was the blue Honda driver was miffed at how close you were following them. Give yourself more following distance and you will be safer and you will also tick off fewer drivers. ILR Car Control School
You said it. Unfortunately, someone absolutely riding your ass (usually in a big truck) is a daily occurrence for most of us. That being said, brake checking is incredibly stupid.
5:05 Here's a very good example to why you never want to stick yourself to someone's bumper. Driver had enough distance for a good reaction time. Even though he had a good ~50meters distance between himself and the car ahead, he barely missed the shopping cart or whatever this object was. However the car ahead of cammer was closer to the Van further away and had to hit the brakes hard to avoid the colision.
Certainly are a lot of people that just randomly brake check cammers for absolutely no reason, isn't there? That's crazy. Zero chance there was a ton of context that's been omitted from the video.
I think that is a first for you, to have the same clip in the compilation twice (#25 is second time). It's very distinctive because it has the audio about the Canadian gun laws.
Video #18 5:38 Angel - never assume the other driver will do the right thing and STOP. Cover your brake and be ready. Instead of honking your horn, a little swerve to the left could have saved your truck and your pain. The oncoming car was far enough away for that. ILR Car Control School
yep I do not know why people think that honking their horn is going to help all it does is startle an already distracted driver an d cause them to panic, therefore continueing into your path
Yeah, you should always slow down on a rural road where cross traffic has a stop sign. Makes perfect sense to nobody who wants to reach their destination.
5:40 if only you had taken ANY collision avoidance measures at all instead of just honking your horn you might've been able to reduce the severity of the impact. But no, you didn't slow down or anything. You just honked your horn a couple of seconds before impact and kept right on accelerating until the other truck hit you. Defensive driving fail.
I agree. And why was the other person ticketed for just an expired tag? What about running the stop sign and failure to yield right of way. I wouldn't be surprised if the license and insurance was expired also.
I was coming on here to say exactly that. I get so sick of drivers who have no collision avoidance skills at all. Cammer may not have been able to avoid it entirely, but could have at least lessened the severity by simply braking and jinking lefts little.
The blue Ford is just another clear cut example of a failed missed exit crash. No signal, no warning, just slice over without looking hoping luck will always always on their side.
5:05 Damn! That's the geocache I've been looking for going on 2 months! 5:30 Proof that the speed of sound is faster than the speed of light. 7:50 Doesn't clip #25 look quite similar to clip #13 4:19 ??
Depends where in California. Southern California HOV are enforced 24/7. Unless you have the HOV sticker, regardless what time of day, you will get ticketed if you're the only one in the car. Northern California is only enforced at peak times. You can see for yourself on DMV and DOT website under HOV laws. The cammer was located in Glendale, which is only few miles away from LA. There are a lot of schmucks driving in the HOV by themselves during rush hour and practically defeats the purpose of having HOV lanes causing more traffic. It amazes me that they rather risk getting a $1,000 ticket then going through traffic like everyone else.
HOV stands for high occupancy vehicle so no you can’t ride in them alone in most places. That said the cammer is a useless asshat as the other driver started to change lanes first.
I'm willing to give the cammer the benefit of the doubt. He/she was probably in a severe state of shock from having seen a BMW driver using turn signals. lol A.D.D. Moment - Check out the song "State of Shock," by The Jacksons (featuring Mick Jagger). It's a pretty good song often forgotten by radio stations when they have their "All 80s Weekend" shows.
7:10. his signal was on well in advance of the cammer moving into the lane. Furthermore, he was more in front of the cammer when the cammer moved into his blind spot. At that moment the cammer had a perfect view of the black car, and initiated his lane change after the other vehicle had signaled and began his lane change.. . If a collision occurred, I'd bet that it would be 100% cammer fault.
8:37 why be a jerk, cammer? The blue car was indicating he was going to turn. He just ended in the wrong lane. Be a little large and your life will be surprisingly easier and happier
#24 7:35 The lady was trying to make a u-turn but the asshat in the white car was blocking her turn. U-turners have RoW against drivers who have a stop sign. After she found herself blocked, she was trying to get out of the way of oncoming traffic. But yeah, she shouldn't have been on the phone.
2:02 Dual turn lane. Should be one of the easiest things about driving, yet one of the most common types of clips in these videos. I still don't get what is so hard about turning into the lane you came from.
3:42 The truck ahead of me dared to come into my lane. This rage forced me to stomp on the gas to, not only close the distance between us, but also pass them half in their lane. This peon even dared to think I was the bad guy.

23 - the driver coming from the left isn't at fault, there's no way they could have seen the person from the right moving over in time. If there was a collision it would definitely be a 50/50 blame on that one
I was going to say, she/he had their signal on and was navigating into the lane before douche bag.
@@culcune the solid line thing may be true, but the cammer was also clearly speeding. No way the beamer's insurance would accept 100% fault
You had the clip with the "canada has most restrictive firearm regulations in the world" clip twice.
And it's so annoying mostly because is such a big BS.
Kinda sick of people blaming inattentiveness on people "being on their phone". That's just a straw man argument. There are plenty of other possible distractions...
For me it's when my glove box keeps opening lol
You'd be surprised the number of people staring at their own laps. I saw a girl staring at her lap who nearly slice off her own head. She looked up at the last second and came to a grinding halt as a semi hauling steel girders slowed down and was just INCHES away from piercing her windshield.
6:10 “No damage, but my daughter learned a new curse word…” 🤣
7:52 lemme tell you a couple of three things: Canada has the strictest fire arm regulations in the world
I thought that I was having deja vu.
Amazing how many people are confused between "brakes" and "breaks."
Don't forget those "break checks"!
Yeah, let's check to see what's broken. ;)
3:30 "I had no choice but to honk and accelerate" I wish the cammer was being ironic
I cannot let this person get ahead of me! Only I can be in front! (puts petal to the metal) AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
He said ohhhh ohhhh.... good job tahoe... as he's about to run a red light LOL

But, "Drivers seemed fine." Wonder if they stopped after the adrenaline rush to the right foot?
I think it was the passenger that gasped. Honestly I would’ve instinctively gunned it too. Most highways in San Antonio are 70+mph. If I see any headlights behind me I’m getting back up to speed.

I've heard that a couple times, too.
nope sorry but places like china Australia New Zealand have way stricter rules
I STILL want to know 'that in spite of that...' Then it cuts off.
these dashcam drivers need a english lesson
its brakes not "breaks"!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s also “an” not “a.”
@7:30 it looks like she was planning to make a u turn but the Mercedes didn't turn for some reason.
3:42 You're luck the guy wasn't on his break ...
7:22 that intersection needs a traffic light
3:45 it’s comical that you think you were carefully merging and changing lanes when you obviously tried to accelerate to block the tacoma from merging. and he wasn’t the only one that failed to use a blinker
3:28 - Fun area on 270. Everybody's trying to change lanes and not yield to other lanes, all while on their phones.
"I had no choice but to lay on the horn and floor it"
8:28 - Or maybe the cammer didn't notice the turn signal at first and then thought "screw you, I'm not letting you in"
Love how number 8 waits until they’re slowing down to block both lanes of the exit 😂😂

I love how at 0:17 The front assist warning beeps then corrective action is made lol
I think that is a first for you, to have the same clip in the compilation twice (#25 is second time). It's very distinctive because it has the audio about the Canadian gun laws.
Was gonna point that out, but you beat me to the punch.
2:05 buddy runs through a red light to put himself into a victims position on the white SUV... "I've got a dash cam, there's no way I can be wrong"

@@MidnightRose. you legally have to stop first and then only if there is no traffic then you can make a right turn on a red and only then

0:37 Andrew Dice Clay in the house! 🤣
2:07, maybe it's because you flew through the red light. Yes, they should have checked but you should have stopped too.
To the cammer at 0:28 ... Where were y'all going to dinner? Every driver in traffic is a story in progress.
Ok....now I want a Quebert bobble for my truck.
Number 10 Eli. Time to take away the license from the lady. She’s a danger to herself and other people.
Other drivers could avoid that if they actually stopped at lights or stop signs.
it’s funny that you think taking away their license will change anything
It’s not “break” check, it’s “brake” check.
Right turn on red means come to a complete stop before turning
6:23 🎵it's raining deer🎶 hallelujah🎶
5:40 if only you had taken ANY collision avoidance measures at all instead of just honking your horn you might've been able to reduce the severity of the impact. But no, you didn't slow down or anything. You just honked your horn a couple of seconds before impact and kept right on accelerating until the other truck hit you. Defensive driving fail.
I disagree. Stop signs are not a suggestion. They didn't even make a decent attempt and were completely unaware.
@@donnash5813 defensive driving STILL could have helped, can't live in this world thinking EVERYTHING is going to go perfectly.
Agreed. Enough room to go left around the truck or just brake.
Whoever invented the Dashcam is a genius.😂
Awesome video!😸
As I’ve said before, Quebec drivers are unpredictably unpredictable.

7:10 all you buddy. You were behind him and he even graced you with a blinker.
Also, you're allowed to travel by yourself in the HOV
Depends on the hours posted. Since it's night more than likely it was ok though.
@@xpeed718 behavior reminds me of Scottsdale AZ. They're better than you, it's ok
HOV stands for high occupancy vehicle so no you can’t ride in them alone in most places. That said the cammer is a useless asshat as the other driver started to change lanes first.
I'm willing to give the cammer the benefit of the doubt. He/she was probably in a severe state of shock from having seen a BMW driver using turn signals. lol
