My uncle bought a sedan like that new in 84 I had a sedan like that and I also had a mercury marquis like that. I had trouble with oil pressure on both of mine the oil light would flicker at idle speed once they do that they don't last long..is it bad underneath the frame rails etc ?
Floors are shot since these are a unibody there really isnt a frame. In the areas where the suspension bolts to looks solid enough but its no creampuff by any stretch. This has 144k miles on it so i would say the engine is pretty wore out. The engine idles high enough the oil light hasnt flashed on yet. Lol. I had a 84 sedan years ago and it would flash on at idle.
They weren't bad cars they were just underappreciated because they weren't cool so to speak. They were tore up for fun and junked after they got so old. Taken care of they actually lasted quite a while.

Doesn't look half bad.konda impressed with the outside looks. Hopefully there's not too much rust/boddy rot.
