Neighborhood Car Reviews gives you an alternative look at the already impressive list of car videos that are online. What we do is a first-person walk-around of the car. We show features and details that are on the particular model being shown. Performance data, safety equipment and the like are usually not shown due to the already enormous amount of videos that cover the aforementioned topics.
We like to cover everything from classics to high-end and everything in between. - Авто/Мото
In the video, I mistakenly mentioned payload as 2,100 pounds, as stated from the Ford Press Release, HOWEVER, the door tag states maximum payload to be 1,602 pounds, so go with that. My apologies for this oversight!
@Neighborhood Car Reviews There looks a production issue as in the brochure for 2021 it states as well the payload should be 2,100 LBS with 145" wheelbase SuperCrew and 3.5 @ 7,050 GVWR
Nicely done. One of the best I’ve seen. Very in depth.
Thank you! Sorry for the late reply! I just saw this and comments like these just absolutely MAKE my day!!
I honestly never liked the style of the newer trucks, but this one is an exception!
Excellent review!
Awesome modern redesign of the 14th generation ford f150 for this year
Beautiful truck!
I miss the baseball glove seats from the original King Ranch models. They were awesome looking, albeit harder to maintain.
Me too.
What ever they did , they did it right , truck looks perfect
Nice Man luv ya guy
i wonder if the rear vents in the center cosole blow air this year?
Does seats lay down flat in this king ranch trim. And does it have the 120 plug in in bed to run power tools.
Has Ford provided a radio warranty since the last series was defective? Where are the rear controls for the AC? Vents alone aren't always enough.
Good questions. I sadly do not have the answer to the warranty question, but I am sure someone on here does! As for the rear climate controls, I am actually surprised that they didn't include them on a trim level this high! Seems like an afterthought, but there may be a reason behind it. As for radio issues, we have a Lincoln MKX with the Sync MyLincoln Touch system, and it SUCKS. The screen has been dead for a year, and Ford extended the warranty on the unit, and ours missed the mark by 100 miles. That's maddening. It's a $600 part, too.
Can you do a review of the fold down seats
If I get my hands on one that has them, you bet. This truck didn’t have those seats OR the work console.
Do you mind posting the actual payload sticker for this truck? The yellow sticker inside the drivers door?
See the pinned comment. It’s 1,602 LBS, not the 2,100 as stated by the information collected from the Ford Press Release.
@@NeighborhoodCarReviews Awesome can you show the associated Moroney for the truck. Ford has not released the fleet payload guide and many of us our trying to figure out what each option weighs so we know what truck to get.
I have the PDF of the Monroney, but it doesn’t show the weight of the options on the truck. Also, for whatever reason, I can’t share the PDF or Image of the sticker on RUclips. Well, I guess I can in the Community tab. As for individual option weights, I’m not sure. In the description box for the video, I have full pricing breakdown including the options and packages and what they contain, plus the package/options cost figures.
I definitely don’t like the new 2021 front end at all. It makes the whole truck look cheap and wimpy. Even with 11 different grille choices, I still don’t see any one that I like. The best looking front end on a F-150 is the 2015, 16 & 17 model. The 2018, 19 & 20 were ok in the Lariat trim but not the XLT trim. The 2021 that you reviewed just looks smaller and low to the ground. The front end looks to much like the Ranger for me. The new grille looks good for the vehicle size of the Ranger but not the F-150. I am pleased with the interior looks especially the radio display. Great review and video on the truck though. You covered everything well.
Yeah. I’m hit and miss with the F-150. Overall, I love it, but I think the front looks a bit like the GMC Sierra. The interior is amazing, though.
Except for that door chime , would have to delete that
What’s the sticker price
Sticker price is listed in the video at 1:51 and in the description box, along with the full options list.
For this being a high trim level 2021 it sure is missing a lot. No work surface, no lay-flat seat, no under-seat storage and no power onboard in the bed. What’s the point of the 2021? Might as well of showed us an XLT.
I know. It’s kind of an odd spec, but it was a sold pre-order, so maybe the guy who bought it didn’t want that stuff. Either way, I filmed what I had available to me, and being a King Ranch, I’m happy anyways.
No leather interior in the XLT and you can't get the B&O Unleashed sound system in the XLT. There is a difference!!!! If you don't want or need those things, go with the XLT.
I hate chrome bumpers.
Crash this truck
Never!!
