@@smokeofspades2974 It's actually a very positive and uplifting way of changing your mindset. Try it out with any insecurities you may have or flaws people have told you about. You can turn your negatives into positives and apply it to situations, ethics, business etc that perhaps in the past or present you viewed in a negative way. Of course if 10 people are telling you you have a tail, you better look behind lol you may need to work on some things but rather than sugarcoating, use it as a tool to help build one's self esteem and confidence. We all have things we need to work on (time keeping is number one for me) but if you are able to turn a weakness into a strength it's a great way to improve oneself.

Sometimes a standoff type of person is actually just shy and don’t really have the needed people skills to mingle. The next time you are around someone who seems to be the type of person who “thinks they are better” just start a conversation with them. You never know...you’ll probably be surprised in a good way.

There's no need to bring that intimidating bossy attitude outside those prison walls though. An intimidating bossy attitude is Not Cute at all. Being approachable is Not weakness. There has to be a balance. Jeannie likes to disagree and want to be right all the time anyway.
@@TheBrownIsland I agree with that. I believe both of them were wrong. They didn't really describe what being intimidating is. "You're not bossy, you're a leader?" Girl, that's two very different things! A leader does not need to be bossy. Everyone knows that.
I worked with someone who was extremely bossy, telling people all day long to do this or do that while she did absolutely nothing; and always with a tone. She did come off as intimidating but in a negative way because she was an asshole.
On the other hand, I had a few professors during post-graduate studies that were very intimidating to all the students. Were they jerks? Not at all. They were very smart and knowledgeable which made them intimidating but in a positive way. It made you develop a high sense of respect for them.

They don’t know what intimidation means for one. Also intimidation has nothing to do with the persons personality. It’s about how you perceive them. You can be warm and people can still be intimidated by you. I had warm professors but I was still intimidated but them

Intimidation has alot to do with your personality. Someone may find you intimidating when you are not but it doesn't mean it is not about personality. People can find you intimidating but you can also have an intimidating personality in general. Just because i dont find something theatening doesn't mean it's not
Being intimidating should not be confused with being arrogant...there's a big difference
Being intimating means that your NATURAL skill, behavior or personality challenges other people to respect you but only if comes it comes from a true place, whereas arrogance comes from a FAKE place of pride and insecurity, therefore you feel the need to overcompensate for what you lack, which is confidence.

I was a bit confused when Loni said she was intimidated by Tamera when they first met because she ‘grew up’ watching ‘sister sister’. Loni is 7 years older than Tamera, as Tamera started filming ‘sister sister’ when she was 14yrs old Loni would have been 21 when it started and 28yrs old when it finished so that really didn’t make sense to me. Anyone else confused?

Thanks for Jeannie input about the word intimidating because I’m seen like that. Honestly it’s true , I am. It’s a cover up to just shape how people are going to approach me the first time. But those who are close to me , are way more comfortable around me. Plus the field in which I am doesn’t necessarily give me enough room to be otherwise.

The movie theater changes are amazing! Our church school shows monthly movie nights for kids of all ages. They show them in a lecture hall, darkened, with cushy seats and a screen. They put blankies, crayons, paper, and a few quiet activities, like fidget cubes, or other dollar store toys on the carpet for the littles. They had a popcorn machine, offer corndogs, small candies, and mini water bottles.
With labor shortages for sitters at reasonable prices these days, a theater like this would be a blessing! I could bring all my kids - even my Autism Spectrum suspect. It would be awesome. Not every theater room has to have this, but for people who know they're going to bring kids or that it's going to be like that and don't mind the distractions, this would be great!

I have a twin and the same thing happened to us. I think people can be intimidated on intruding. We got upset over it sometimes and thought everyone hated us. In reality people probably would feel intimidated by the pair. I'm sure them being tv stars led to other presumptions too.

The difference is only being their friend because of who they are (actors) versus getting to know them for who they are (normal people) and becoming friends that way.

Umm.....I'm happy about the full girl chat clip, but I need it to be the current girl chat. Most people are at work when The Real is on, therefore RUclips is a primary mode to view the show. Wendy Williams posts her 'Hot Topics' every evening and 'The View' has their shows on OnDemand. The Real needs to come with that same energy so fans can support the show, because I don't know about you, but I'm not paying extra money for DVR every month.

I have the same issue, I am really friendly and welcoming, yet people have confessed when they first met me I seemed intimidating. I am exacting and analytical so when I meet people I ask direct questions. That can be viewed as judgemental which I admit it usually is. 😗😆😗😙
