I, along with many other subscribers, think whoever is in charge of The Real’s official RUclips channel’s uploading habits are WACK. If you guys replaced whoever is in charge of this channel, someone who cares, I feel like not only would your fan base on RUclips grow, but cable is low key dying to the younger gen, the ones who need your influence! So, you guys should take care of your RUclips channel a little better. It’s getting messy😞. Also, you guys could probably make some extra cash on your channel once it’s in better hands👀
Anyway, with all due respect, I hope something can get done. Because I love watching these girls! And I know that when their show comes on TV, it is not only 5 minutes long...and recycled clips are no fun. Possibly take notes from Wendy’s channel📝 I am 19 and I love to watch you girls! We African. My grandmother stayed with my mom and aunt for 6 months when they had the baby and was cooking and cleaning ect. Sad not everyone has that available to them. Unfortunately she passed away recently so she won't be around to help me with my children.
I'm Jamerican. My momma is Jamaican and that's what we do in most families as well. I wish I had that option. I'm not a momma yet and my momma passed away. My condolences, your grandma sounds like an incredible woman.
It’s too bad that they have chosen to discuss the work of postpartum doulas in such a negative way. First let me say that I live in NJ and I can assure that there aren’t any doulas here charging 10,000... the fee is usually charged hourly and can range anywhere from $15 to $40.
To Tamara, not every mother has her mom or even close family or friends around to help support through the postpartum period and not every woman gives birth in a hospital. Postpartum doulas can play a vital role in a new mothers life. They are more than just helping with breastfeeding and how to use a baby carrier...they are there for emotional support and helping a mother with care for her newborn and herself. They offer companionship during a time where a new mother can feel extremely isolated. They can help to increase her confidence in being a new mother. It’s about being there for them on many levels and supporting them through one of the most important times of their lives. I really wish that you ladies would do better research, especially on topics that are so important.
Big PaPi thccums i agree with you. this time as much as i love the girls i think they didn't give the correct info about doulas and not every family member or nurse is actually correctly informed on how to actually do things the right way. where i live many women fail breastfeeding because of misinformation. very few family members or nurses actually take the time to learn and to debunk so many myths about raising babies.
Big PaPi thccums for example: rubbing alcohol on a baby is not right. babies absorb that and can be harmful.
I'm a postpartum doula and I'm not 10K lol. I am actually extremely reasonable because it's truly my passion. If you're passionate about your craft money shouldn't be an issue!

That is correct... they can't do it for current episodes because they need viewers to tune in to both the day it airs and reruns before they upload certain amount of content... but since these particular episodes don't air on tv anymore... they are able to upload full clips from Fall 2016 - Spring 2018... and probably when this season is over they'll do the same thing before season 6 begins...

In my culture, the new mother moves back into her parents home for support for at least a couple months if not more. They get looked after and taken care of until she gets on her feet. Also it takes the stress off.

With makeup, there’s certain things where I have to buy the expensive stuff like primer, and some foundations, but when I can save I will. But the name brand stuff never makes me break out, the cheap stuff is sketchy for me

I think it can be costly and risky, we know Loni love her coins. However, I feel like her losing her baby left a scar in herself and she probably afraid. Therefore, adopting a baby would be so beautiful.

just because it’s name brand doesn’t always mean it’s good i’ve gotten name brand face wash/ moisturizer that break me out and drugstore moisturizer that work wonders so it’s really all up to ur skin

I know I'm late to the party but I don't think it's fair to say that if your skin looks bad it's because you don't take care of it. I naturally have very sensitive and acne prone skin that can't decide if it wants to be oily or dry I've been working with a dermatologist for years and while it has gotten better it still looks busted most of the time and that's not because I don't care about it

Exactly. SOMEHOW, mothers just know. It is my first time being a mother to my 2.5 yr old daughter and it has definitely been a journey so far. I have always watched my older sister parent to my now 8 yr old niece and 6 yr old nephew. But being a first time mom, & from observing my sister, I have managed alot on my own. "Mother's intuition" is a real thing ;-)

Let’s address this “fake proposing” thing. I would NEVER do this nor condone lying to get free dessert. It shows that you’re cheap and more importantly you’re lying and deceiving people for a skimpy $10 dessert. Wtf? NO! And not to mention, a proposal shouldn’t be a joke to or scheme to get free desert. It’s most women’s dream and should be taken seriously. This is wrong on so many levels!!
