- This comedian picked the worst audience member to roast! But his crowdwork isn't all it seems, and he has a surprise for her that wins the whole crowd over.
Chris Turner is an award-winning comedian, and freestyle rapper known for his viral 'White Boy Drops Unbelievable Freestyle Rap' video. Based in the USA, he wrote for the latest season of Epic Rap Battles of History and is a regular closing act at the world-famous Comedy Cellar in New York, and the Comedy and Magic Club in Los Angeles.

I love how Chris slightly triggers the audience, then completely wins them back when he starts to rap
this is actually formulaic and effective. I've done it. Humor itself does it at times when you build fear or discomfort, then replace that with comfort. It's similar to the H3 g3 l1an d1al3ct: pr0blem, Rx, solution. Think about this: Micro... Soft! Intimidating, scary... then offers something cuddly.. What else can we make? How about... Murderously evil Bunny snuggles. Cute, right? Tony Robbins recounted a story decades ago where a company intentionally sent out faulty products with the specific intent of WOWing their customers with outstanding customer service when they complained. It does work but it's not really ethical. Ok for humor and stories though

The good thing about the whole act building up to a rap is that it takes the pressure off making absolutely everything funny, he's able to have moments of genuine conversation and connection
I love how he involves everyone in this his freestyle. He doesn’t always do that. This turned out brilliantly.
As a counsellor... I think that was a great question. Personally I love when people come with relationship problems. Anxiety is stressful to work with because it's contagious, so it takes a lot of energy putting out calm energy in the face of an anxious client.
he's just on a different level than harry mack. harry mack is pretty good in terms of quickness and rhythm, no doubt about it, but chris knows stuff about topics that no one expects and his rhymes are much, much more complex which i prefer...
