The greatest scientist of our time, just passed away. I just wanted to make sure that this video was no way intended to destroy his works, but to just challenge one of his argument. He will truly be remembered for his great contributions in the world of science and be a _HUGE_ inspiration for everyone.

When did Hawking actually said that?
I watched a lot about Hawking, but he never put the mere existence of gravity as cause for a universe from nothing.
A universe once infinitely dense is just a universe infinitely. Everything was packed more dense.

@@graceelliepage6898 how do you know that the universe or rather the cosmos is not eternal. the evidence suggests that our current universe and our understanding of space-time had a beginning about 13.8 bil years ago. as of right now we don't know anything about the before or if a before even makes sense, because the evidence seems to show that time didn't exist "before". we still "see" the big bang happening that's the reason how we have proven this theory. but the big bang theory does not describe the beginning. it describes the expansion of the universe after our understanding of a "beginning". as of right now we know nothing about the "beginning" or if there even was a beginning. if you now say yeah that's where you need god then you obviously don't understand physics and it would be a perfect example of the god of the gaps.
and your claim about god, space and time has not been demonstrated to be true. it's as if I would say 10 fairies created time and space and that's why they can't be effected by time if they made it. it's just fallacious.

I don't want to repeat ms but it seems like your understanding of cosmology is very limited. you didn't answer my question and made again already disputed claims.
but let's go there anyways. first there aren't even close to a thousend prophecies in the bible and the fulfilled once are not even close to impressive. mainly because they don't give a accurate or detailed description of the events and they are not timely limited. not a single one says for example on january 12th 2121 at 12 a.m. the earth stops to rotate for 2 min. if that would happen at that exact time that would be impressive but nothing in the bible comes even close to this.
there are no witnesses that saw jesus there are only reports about witnesses in the bible but thats about it. you have to look outside the bible for evidence. a starting point would be the Roman empire which existed before, during and after Jesus. fun fact: there is not a single piece of evidence that suggest that a rabbi named jesus performed any miracles. there is more evidence that Buddha existed then Jesus and Buddha lived 500 years before Jesus. read into that!!!!
and these scientific facts about there order of our universe are objectively wrong. the order in genesis is wrong and has been proven to be different.
      i hope that helps

    • @choppy1136

@Caleb Xantho I am not a hypocrite. you 're just like grace you don't really read my awnsers... I never once said that the universe is eternal I was just stating the obvious that we don't know. just read again and you 'll see that I never once claimed that the universe is eternal. I just said that we (humans) have no knowledge about the "before" or if a "before" even makes sense.
and now to your probability claim of god. generally speaking there is a rule to this kind of claims. it's: "probability needs to be demonstrated". if you can't demonstrate your probability then there is no probability that could be demonstrated and your argument is flawed.
but now I really do expect a probability and if you don't come up with any numbers you 're admitting that you never really calculated a probability. and the main reason why I want numbers is because you said: "mathematically you have a higher probability of having a god..."
I hope you read my comments again to see that I never once made a positive claim I was just stating the obvious flaws in graces and now in your arguments.
      I hope that helps.

    • @edwardmorales1497
      @edwardmorales1497 3 года назад

@Caleb Xantho The question of who made God can be answered by simply looking at space and asking, "Does space have an end?" Obviously, it doesn’t. If there is a brick wall with "The End" written on it, the question arises, "What is behind the brick wall?" Strain the mind though it may, we have to believe (have faith) that space has no beginning and no end. The same applies with God. He has no beginning and no end. He is eternal.
The Bible also informs us that time is a dimension that God created, into which man was subjected. It even tells us that one day time will no longer exist. That will be called "eternity." God Himself dwells outside of the dimension He created (2 Timothy 1:9, Titus 1:2). He dwells in eternity and is not subject to time. God spoke history before it came into being. He can move through time as a man flips through a history book.

Phillip Abreo And if God existed, His own creation and what He does with it, along with the purpose the death of those children serve is non of human business. Stop applying mortal morality and judgment of flawed beings to an all knowing, all powerful perfect being. And in theology, death is a product of separation from the Creator, not a product of the Creator himself.

By the way, Hawking’s black hole theory is severely flawed in many of its principles. As Lennox stated here, nonsense is nonsense even if Stephen Hawking writes it.

I don't understand aby if theoretical physics, but I can recognize religious fundamentalist when I see one.
if prof. Lennox's counter-argument is "God is eternal (sic! yeah? says who? a man- made book) he is the ultimate reality (yeah? that nobody can see, hear, touch or smell?) the ultimate fact (an fact is supposed to be based on observations, isn't it, professor?) To ask who created him is to show that one does not understand the nature of his being (it is not matter of one's understanding, it is a matter of ones atheism or theism...)...
So, if all these are professor's argument, that professor is a genuine fundamentalist. luckily this is 21st centurty, so he cannot burn alive anyone. yet...
