Fun medical fact: Studies have shown that after 72 hours of no sleep can lead to hallucinations, migraines, a plethora of other psychological effects and even death after long enough, and seeing as Davis has been up for 5 days (120 hours) I’m surprised he hasn’t gone totally insane though the hallucinations are quite accurate to what would happen due to extreme sleep deprivation

Like you know it’s bad if Davis actually calls for Otso to help him. He doesn’t want to call him when it’s convenient for him but this time there was no way around it. Otso is pretty much the only person Davis could be himself around and trust enough to fall back on
When Otso said he was tempted to bring Davis back to his cell I was like - JUST TAKE HIM ALREADY!
Davis true feeling are starting to show, he regrets not being able to save his friend in the military, he regrets not being there for his son, and now he might have feeling for Kat but is afraid she will reject him. Also Kat gonna freak when she finds out what Davis was hallucinating but I think she will understand.
On a side note though: Davis is a real trooper for holding out on the 7 day sleep deprivation trial. Hallucinations didn’t start until day 7👍🏻
5 days, so while not 7 it’s still very impressive

You can’t stay awake for three days, but I’m surprised he’s alive for seven days straight…I feel bad for him. The deprivation is killing him from the inside out and is destroying his sanity.
Imagine he has a fever dream where he sees the events that transpired after he died. Like his power actually just created a different timeline and he’s dead in the past one. Idk, just think it’d be cool to see.

Well the hallucinations are of his hidden thoughts, his unconscious mind leaking into his reality. On some level he’s attracted to her, it remains to be seen if she feels the same.

I’m glad Osto help and all with the hallucinations but if you see a deeper picture hallucinations are truly what the hallucinated wants or blames themselves for, that makes all of this a lot sadder

So it’s clear that the Dan and Marcus Davis was talking to was from the doubtful part of his head. Dan was probably a good guy that wouldn’t say that but Davis is upset at himself that no matter how many times he reset he couldn’t save him. Marcus was probably based off the fact that he couldn’t be there for Marcus when he wanted to, or that Marcus will hate him out of lie told to him by his mother.
Now Kat… as Davis said himself, “That’s a lot to unpack there.” I originally thought it was going to be Kat talking about how no matter what she tried Davis was never satisfied with it, but apparently another part of the brain decided to jump the hallucinations train. Maybe that’s Davis’s inner thoughts about Kat, the thoughts that are there but never stays or are ignored. All I can say, it’s going to be fun seeing him interact with Kat again.
The only mystery of this video is what does Harkman have planned that he thinks can help control Davis’s power?

I believe that no matter how much caffeine you have in your system if your tired you *can* fall asleep your brain and body understand all the caffeine does is keep you from feeling more tired than you already are. Additionally you can always fall asleep even loaded with caffeine

I know what it's like to be sleep deprived for almost a week due to medical reasons and they needed to record specific brain activity. It's not fun.
