So looking things up, a PDK file is a Process Design Kit, and the fact that the design itself is unknown means that probably entity 0 itself is a being without a body or a true design which might be why it probably ended up taking the character itself, it wanted a design and since mobs couldn't suffice, it took a player instead to fit its body shape.
3:16 Something to note: pigs are also a place holder mob. If a block with data of mobs is placed with no preset NBT data, it just goes to null, which is then replaced with the pig. Best example of this is spawners. (When placed it defaults to pigs) Edit: intentional or not from the creator I think that it was very clever 5:33 Another edit from continuing the video: all the mobs shown to not move are given the tag noAI. Making them unable to move but can still generate sound and have an active hit box. Which is pretty creepy to think about in a reality stand point. That’s like not being able to move but still knowing what’s happening around you.

i’m about to turn 31 so i never really got into minecraft bc it came out after i’d aged out of the target demographic, and i am too old to be creeped out by these types of ARGs. that being said, i LOVE watching videos of minecraft horror/ARGs bc it’s such a great showcase of the creativity of the playerbase - and usually the creators are kids, which is infinitely more impressive. especially when you have to really work to get the full story & building tension through the time & effort you spend deciphering the secrets, instead of you being handed the information on a silver platter & relying on cheap jumpscares. these creators are so much more creative than i was at their age, and i think that’s the biggest draw to this type of content for me. that, plus this is the exact type of content i loved as a kid. like i vividly remember being enthralled by the Ghost of Lockout in Halo 2 & spending hours upon hours watching videos, reading forums, and “ghost hunting” myself in the game. and these types of videos remind me so much of that type of content.

"A&P and the shifting mi..." Tried to google about it and didn't really find anything that relates definitively to the story here, but who knows. Going back through their videos, there is a distinct lack of mobs throughout, but the player created his world in Normal difficulty. They also accumulate hostile mob drops throughout the series, however that could be from structures (notably though spider eyes would have to come from desert temples). It is entirely possible that they switched to peaceful after the weird stuff happened. Also while going back I noticed 2 interesting things: Firstly, we do get another look at mob.0 in the Pig video (it's off to the left behind tree leaves when BuildingUp__ first sees the pig). Secondly, BuildingUp__'s chest contents don't change from "Chicki-Chicki-Chicken" (I hate typing that btw) and "Us".
