Thanks for all your videos, you provide really helpful and useful information! Regarding the issue of this video, I always completely shake out my pillow cases (5), flat and fitted sheets (full size) while layering them into the washing machine and the dryer, as you recommend. I also use the baking soda in the wash cycle and four wool dryer balls in the dryer. I run the dryer on low for approximately twenty minutes. Every single time, my sheets come out twisted around each other with some portions dry and others still wet (I mean literally twisted as tightly as if I were winding them up to wring them out like a towel). I live in a condo with onsite laundry rooms. The appliances are basic with few choices regarding different settings. Do you have any suggestions of how I could prevent this happening? Thank you so much for any recommendations you may have!
Don't overload the washer - one set at a time. Unfurl them after the wash cycle - before you put them in the washer. Please see our 150 + bedding related articles found here - www.verolinens.com/how-to-luxury-bed-sheets-linens-tips/ .
It doesn't matter how I load the sheets or what setting I use they twist into a tight rope every time. It is the result of the shape of the agitator. Hence I have to stop the washer at 15 minutes, untwist the mess and come back during the rinse process and untwist again.
Sorry - are you washing more than one set at a time? The best way to wash/dry them is to only put one set in the machine at a time. Thanks for watching. Be sure to watch some of 150+ bedding tips found here - www.verolinens.com/how-to-luxury-bed-sheets-linens-tips/
@@Verolinens I wash one set at a time. I have tried everything. The agitator is designed with a twist to it and it ratchets forward which causes the sheets to twist.
Just bought some luxury sheets and after their first wash they look awful. I hate to think I’m going to have to iron them plus I have a tempurpedic mattress so I can’t iron them on the bed. That will ruin the mattress.
The instructions we prove here should help. As they break in they will wrinkle less. Glad we could help - we have hundreds of how to tips on our site www.verolinens.com
