I Tried To Beat Sunbreak Without LOSING Sharpness

- I have beaten Base Rise without losing sharpness but can I beat Sunbreak this way? Watch and find out!
Challenge Rules:
1. No use of Wyvern Riding
2. If using SnS you cannot run Protective Polish (or use SnS if using Protective Polish)
3. No resetting the timer while Protective Polish is active You must wait until the timer runs out before you can sharpen again (Changed Later on)
4. If you lose sharpness, you must restart the quest
5. No use of Bows or Bowguns
6. (Rule just for me) Once in Master Rank, you must use a weapon other than SnS (Changed later on)

Apologies for not getting this video out sooner. I could've easily released it a week after the base rise version of this challenge but there was a lot that happened in the last month that prevented me from working on this video.

This is why i love the SnS,it's so versatile. If you want elemental damage,you have the sword. If you want blunt damage and not having to sharpen,the shield is there. It's like you have two weapons for the price of one.

Not to mention how mobile or tanky it can be.
Don't forget that Metsushoryugeki wirebug skill. That thing is so op when it proc Offensive Guard it's hilarious

Honestly, with the wirebug skills, this looks like a lot of fun with SnS
Somebody call The Backlogs I think this is his long lost little brother
My only complaint about SnS is shoryugeki has such a strict counter frame, but then you got stuff like Charge Blade with a full two seconds, it’s VERY polarizing if you’re trying to switch over
The hunts might take longer and idk I it would count, but couldn’t you do the same with a Hunting Horn that has Sharpness Regeneration and Sharpness Loss Reduction and just keep playing those same notes. Plus also having Protective Polish and Speed Sharpening on just in case

dual monitor + timer that goes 60 - 0 repeat. whatever second its on just make a mental note every time you sharpen. You made this wayyyyyy harder on yourself than it needed to be lol

looked like he did because of the animation for one of his silkbinds looks like he's doing a sword attack. Was the shield charge one.

That armor I wear during the A roll is a mix of MR Kushala Layered and Guild Palace Layered armor.
Imagine he got the final hit with the sword and lost sharpness at the final fight
Uhm akshually you lost sharpness after killing the last boss but before the completion screen which means you have to redo it 😏

why didn't you hit the wyvern you mounted on a wall? That way, you wouldn't deal damage to your target

I’m attempting a challenge of my own. Beating mhr and mhr:sunbreak without taking damage. I’ve only gotten to magnamalo and he’s been a doozy. I’m getting here, but it’s tiresome.

Okay I know I’m late af but this isn’t really a challenge lol. I already play the game without having my hammer lose sharpness thanks to a combination of masters touch and bladescale hone. Haven’t touched a whetstone since TU1.
