Nice, good to see a spray can one. I'm doing a similar era crane atm and can't justify a powder coat system. I made some disc washers from plastic chinese food boxes and inserted them at the hinge points of the crane to allow movement without damaging the paint.

I don't see how you avoid runs.

I have a 75 on the way. I think besides the decal it's the same dump truck. Thanks for this. Do you restore for others? Ty again.

Thank you for an AMAZING tutorial. I am a single disabled Mama with 7 children. I am attempting to redo my 19yr old sons 2 Tonka trucks for my 5yr old son. It just so happens that 1 of them is the same truck you done! Where did you get the plastic at for the cab windows? Also where did you get the replacement decals? Thank you again soo much. Shirley P.

I found the plastic window and decals at Gasoline Alley toys (not a sponsor).
Thanks for watching and good luck with your restoration.

Wonderful restoration. I have a Lionel Train I got for Xmas 1941. It was running last time I had it out. I would love to see it restored for Xmas 2021. Do you take outside projects?

I would be interested in taking a look at it.
Please send me a photo of the train an I'll see if it's something I'm able to do.
You can find my email under the About tab.
Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!
