The scariest part of the video was when, in the council meeting, he asked the citizen attendees if they wanted transparency from their police and only 3 out of a hundred raised their hands. Until the majority of citizens appreciates the rampant ignorance of the law and outright bullying and abuse displayed by their law enforcement agencies, nothing will change. We need an outraged citizenry rather than passive blue line apologists.

Freedome of information act does not allow this under any sort of concerns, its a matter of public record, so when they continue to withhold stuff like this you file a lawsuit on her and the city as well.

Telling people to be "respectful" of government especially considering the true "nature" of said entity is very foolish especially in light of the events of the last three years.
Most government employees are decent people who are scared of retaliation from their supervisors, just as many in the community are in fear. I believe we should treat them with courtesy unless they become discourteous or unprofessional.

How would you have the slightest clue if "most" government employees are decent people?! The issue isn't whether they're decent or not the issue is having a select group of people with obscene power to mete out against others.

@@alxaccountability Yeah I think you fail to understand my point & fail to see the forest for the trees, I know plenty of "decent" people involved in government as well but that is not the issue as I previously stated. Government is just other people & people are subject to all kinds of behaviors but that isn't the point as plenty of so called "decent" people destroyed the lives of MANY during the events of the last three years as a very recent/pertinent example of obscene power good day.

@@alxaccountability Think about the people around you. The ones who walk passed these type of situations just to give a passing glance in curiosity, but are still walking away from it. Why? Because they know it has nothing to with them therefor they don't bother. The same people who probably look at what you're doing and as they pass by, they roll their eyes in pity thinking "Oh brother, one of those guys" or "Don't these people have better things to do that this?" Then again, how do we know what they are thinking? All in all, you wanna watch, fine, but it's best to keep you mouth shut.

You witness a violation of a citizen’s civil rights on the sidewalk of the Alexandria courthouse and your opinion is that ALXA is a narcissist? Thanks for that unreasonable opinion. ALXA engages in these activities to benefit our community and it’s working. If you know an officer who serves on APD, ask to verify this statement. APD may not like ALXA’s lawful activities but they are changing their culture as a result and there’s a paper trail to prove it!
