- The Rival is a great scooter at $200.

It is also at Walmart for just $200. The GOTRAX G2 is not really recommended as it is inferrior to the Rival for the price. Also the new GOTRAX G2 Plus appears to have lowered the speed from 15.5 to 12.5 mph.

Just purchased the rival 2 weeks ago I weigh 180 I park my car a mile away from work it works perfect for me
G2 Tip: magnetic brake is for slowing down at higher speeds. Your suppose to hold for dear life and brace yourself
The 200 dollar one is my way to work. It cuts down a 30 min 1 mile walk to work to less than 10 min
We just rode the rival roughly 20 mi with a 46 lb rider. I'm pretty impressed obviously this is with a small kid however I'm still happy that it was able to go that far.
Can u do my a favor and see if the batteries can be swapped

Just bought a brand new g2 plus at walmart this mourning charged it up battery is full you hit the accelerator and it does not move brand new out the box and it does not work i feel like the biggest fool in town They should call themselves gotrash and not gotrax.
You may have to push off with your foot at first. have you tried that? Its possible there is a faulty unit but most will not start rolling when you press it until you speed up with a push from the leg.
@@cenkaetaya Its getting late and i will try some more tomorrow but i push off with my foot and nothing.Iam just mad because its the first escooter for me and i thought it would be great and i thought gotrax was a good brand.
@@hotdon1 Make sure you push off first and then press the accelerator. If you are holding the accelerator and then push off it will not work you need to push to about two or three miles an hour and then press the accelerator. If that doesn't work I would take it apart I mean it's always possible you got a defective unit but I think that's unlikely. If you did I would just go to Walmart and replace it with a new one but I bet you the issue is not a correct push or pressing the button before pushing off. Also obviously make sure you press the power button and hold it until it turns on.
@@cenkaetaya Finally i got it up to about 4 mph it kicked in and took off like a rocket thanks alot like you said i was holding down the accelerator.
