Concentration of that b12 can be a solution, especially because mushrooms can be grown almost anywhere.
Research into vegan foods has not been given the focus, the funding or the resources that the animal flesh industry has been given.

B12 is a bacteria that grows in the ground! The problem is that the vegetables are SO cleaned nowadays, they remove all B12 from it. And also the soil is SO filled with pesticides, etc. that it almost has no more B12 naturally produced like it had before we started putting all these chemicals in the ground.

This first guy.. I think where it went wrong is he doesn't understand the B12 argument.
He thinks because B12 exists in wild animals, that it 'proves' meat is our natural diet. But he didn't question where those animals get the B12 from.
You 'can' get B12 naturally, without a supplement. Because B12 comes from the soil. Neither plants or meat makes it by itself.

Pain is not the only factor. What about the psychological factor. If you gave dog pain killers then kicked the crap out of it it doesn’t really justify the harm because they didn’t feel it.
FYI - vitamin B12 is not produced by plants or animals. It's produced by bacteria. It's commonly found in bacteria laden manure and unsanitized water. (This is why we need B12 supplements for both people and animals)
Certain types of algae, such as nori (used in sushi), chlorella, and spirulina, are known to contain B12.
Terrible perspectives here, just a few years ago, b12 deficiency was estimated to be 40% of the USA human population, at the time the vegan population was little more than 1% of that population, so that means nearly half the US meat eating public were deficient.
That is purely down to farming practice that is destroying the natural soils that crops are grown on, along with cleaning of veg before cooking, destroying b12.
@Trevegan If that were true, then all other vitamins and minerals would be missing from the soil along with the B12 or washed off. The whole "B12 deficiency scare" is a myth perpetuated by the pharma companies who make billions off the supplements. The campaign uses fear to target vegans who still believe in running to doctor to get "tested" with bogus tests that misdiagnose.
Never taken a b12 supplement, never will, many many years now.

On his website he makes it clear he's never taken a B12 supplement after 25 years of being vegan: "The best way to get B12 is to let your body produce it naturally. This vitamin comes from bacteria that live in our mouth and intestines. Health cannot be found in a bottle. It doesn't come in pill form."
Vegans stubbornly insisting their diet is so imperfect they need to take a synthetic chemical full of toxic waste byproducts is totally illogical.

Actually, if you take synthetic b12 supplements, you are literally eating crap -- sewage sludge. Look it up. Also, some of us have jobs: not sure when I'd find the time to go out hunting, just as much as I can't grow my own veg. We just don't have a society where we can realistically supply our own food, so it will always have to be farmed.
That's an overpopulation problem. People need to stop breeding like rabbits and places like factory farming wouldn't exist.

Exactly. If you eat most animal flesh you are ALREADY supplementing your B12 because the animal is receiving the supplement in their feed or through injections. Not to mention that most animals are herbivores. When you eat plants and take a B12 supplement, the animal isn’t involved in the process and doesn’t need to die. From what I now, drinking from untreated running water can be a source of b12, before we did the filtering process.. I believe if Joey only had said that, it could easily shut down his b12 argument

I have no studies to back this but if you think about it Fish are probably more intelligent than us in certain ways. For e.g. we, for more than 99% of our lives, walk only on land which is a 2d movement while fish have a whole another dimension of up and down where we are only limited to jumping. I realized this when i tried to fly a life like simulation of a fighter jet and it was soo soo so hard to navigate and simply shoot at an opponent, and that is secondary, even judging the directions was super tough and I was really humbled as a person who plays a lot of games and outdoor sports and considers himself intelligent. This was in an air force museum.

Yep. Schools should really teach how to be respectful to people, because nearly every person I meet online is toxic as heck and hateful no matter how respectful I am.
The masses are deceived into believing we have to consume animals to survive, excuses of vitamins, protein and saturated fat etc. Fish Boy didn’t have an answer for it and soon retreated. It’s good to see people actually understanding what Joey is trying to explain to them. Keep up the great work.

B12 comes from the bacteria in the soils. So technically everyone would get it naturally if they ate a serving of soil, unwashed/ semi-washed veggies.... Or, you can eat a lot of mushrooms or take a supplement. If the omnivorous diet was so healthy then why were we sold to eat multivitamins even on THAT diet? We still ate kid vitamins growing up and fortified cow's milk and cereals and pasta. So the idea that only the vegan diet requires supplementation is wrong.
Lions don't have choice. Humans are the only animals that have ultimate choice.
If your not choosing a more ethical, healthy planet that is conducive to the continuance of Life, then your choosing death on an installment plan.
