I like to do an Extended Edition watch party about once a year with my friends - cheers! I wish this drink made an appearance in the films, but it was unfortunately but understandably excluded for brevity.
Might have to make these when I start my Lord of the Rings reread on Hobbit Day this year (i.e. my birthday 😁). Curious what season 2 of Rings of Power will be like, gonna watch the new episodes tonight! I was a bit critical of the first season
I’ve been enjoying listening to Andy Serkis’ recordings of the audiobooks lately - his vocal range is unparalleled! I’ve been enjoying S2 so far, there’s some more canon-tangential plot points and the things that deviate further explore stuff that I always wanted to see (e.g. Rhûn, Moria in its prime, etc.)
I was wondering what this was. Pretty cool. Hobbit beer is probably just brown ale, with the only descriptions in the book I could find are "brown" and "good"
Yeah, as much as Tolkien was known for his lengthy descriptive writing he left much to be desired in the realm of flavor specificity! There is at least one drink inspired by the Shire in the cookbooks though…
Ngl, you look good as a elf
Thanks 🧝♂️ wish the ear skin tone matched my ears a little better, but Autumn already had these ones and I wasn’t about to buy a second set 😂
Amazing!
What timing! My wife and I are going to start the LoTR movie tonight! I've seen them once, her never!
