What I always admire of them is their sense of originality. It's always so easy for them to build a "this song is so VIVIZ" genre since it's what they've done in their Gfriend career. They never sway with a trend that mostly silly one and ruin their identity for the sake of following it. They're not just idols, they're fine artists!!!❤❤❤

Jennie's mantra is not quite catchy even though it has unique tunes in it) or kiss of life - igloo/aespa-whiplash. Enlighten me as to why you think the song's got no sense of originality :)
@@guntherstewart8941I think it goes well with trends but it feels like a natural evolution since Bop Bop given their discography and how loved Maniac and Untie are.
My absolute favorite is still VariUs but I like the chorus.
@@angelinedewishinta8016 don't get me wrong, it's cool this song has a bridge, but bridges aren't quite extinct yet especially when factoring bsides. This song has a lot of sing talking which has been a trend for quite a while in kpop. The repetitive chorus is also in line with trends. The vibe also appeals to the afrobeat trend (which I hope is over now). It's not as different from those songs as you might think. Regardless there were more than 4 songs released this year

I think people (particularly international kpop fans) are conditioned to view sexy / edgy as better than cute/bright/ fun. I think bop bop is better than shhh, but I appreciate the new view for viviz (they do it well). Though I still prefer their earlier material. Hope that makes sense
