I have no other choice but to press the like button. Thank you Marco.
Beautiful Marco - And a great explanation on passing through those chords to get to the target chord to provide extra colour.
I would say this is the best channel to learn beautiful fingerpicking
Great lesson as always.
Beautiful playing 😊
Great lesson

Marco, you are a genius. thank you so much for sharing this incredible lesson with us. a masterpiece. I have learned so much.
A great lesson from a great teacher 👍 I've been a member of OPFM since the beginning and highly recommend it for Marco's great content.
very similar prgression is used in Yesterday by Beatles, very nice to practise with singing
Nice one
In key of G Major, the vi chord, Em, is a Submediant not a Subdominant AFAIK. I am just learning music theory so there may be some reason @MarcoCirillo is calling the Em chord a Subdominant that I am unaware of.
You're right. C is the subdominant (the fourth degree)in the key of G.
C is the subdominant
This confused me too.
In any scale, the degrees are:
I Tonic
ii Supertonic
iii Mediant
IV Subdominant
V Dominant
vi Submediant
vii Subtonic (or Leading Tone in the case of scales with a seventh degree one note below the tonic).
There are never two subdominants.
Marco knows far more than I do theory-wise, so 🤷
Marco. That's really good (and challenging!). Would be lovely to hear from you again. Michael, NI
