Reminder: if you died in that mission you wouldn’t respawn, you’d switch to a different soldier.

i think what she ment was that war gets glorified when you don't show the fact the men suffer and "not only" die (as if that wouldn't be already terrible enough). When she spoke i remembered the quote: "War isn't mainly terrible because people die, it is so terrible because people suffer."
@@dershogun6396 if you play some of the single player, you see that suffering, the best example is "the runner" especially on hard mode. It's terrifying, you feel like your gonna be shot the moment you leave cover, and the initial storming of the beach is insanely brutal

This game is a great representation of ww1 and is a tribute to the people who fought in it.

It’s a pretty shitty representation. The historical accuracy is wacky and most people don’t realise what fighting in these wars was actually like. There’s no health bar, you don’t regen health. If you get shot, you die.

and the main gamemode, operations, on maps like monte grappa, or somme with shock ops, one team digs in and holes up in fortifications while the other assaults so there isn't much else for the defenders to do

@@theeggman1199 oh I have man, and it does get stressful with the smoke and gas and then not being able to see the grenades or the elites coming in, but in the end its fun to hold and make last stands. But when the blimp comes out or they bring a literal tank up an unroaded mountain then its a dig in and hold kind of game.
@@mrmoney9822 oh I totally see how you formed your opinion, in my experience the zeppelin pilots stay away from the hill to attack the other points, the fortress gun tears it apart. I've never seen a tank on that point but if one did get up there I can see how that would make it hard to cap.
