- On Sunday, August 16th, 2015, on the Canadian Guitar Festival stage at the Loughborough Lake Holiday Park we were treated to something that we weren't expecting and, unfortunately, most people had already left-but, at least, I filmed it so you can hear this phenomenal rendition of La Villa Strangiata, performed by New World Men!
New World Men are:

I've seen many live covers of this song, and the guitar solos in this version were the most true to the original recording. Very nicely done.

Makes zero difference. A great performance is never a waste, even if it's in your own room. A great teacher once told me, some of the best music every played was played to just a few heads.

Only a few people knew they were there, it was like a rehearsal for them.
That bass tone is great, only can make it out for a few seconds throughout the whole song, it isnt easy to replicate lees tone. Like the guitar choice too.

I was so happy watching and listening to these wicked musicians. When this song was written, it was never meant to be played "live." The three of you have done incredible justice to this band - Rush and to this very difficult song. I could watch this all day... congratulations!

This has to be a rehearsal of some sort - it doesn't look like a bar / venue and there's fuck all people there and dogs gandering about and probably why the lads goofing around a bit.
The sound isn't great, very little bass on it so the treble is really cutting through and making the snare sound like hitting a biscuit ti with a spoon.

Seriously ? This is what you call the best ? Maybe if they practice their timing and the drummer quits rushing the beat AND the guitarist concentrates more on playing than his hair and facial expression...maybe then it would be decent.

The drummer is 15, the lead guitar is a 17 year old girl and the bass player is 18. Tell me I am mistaken these kids are not solid and a better cover than this...
