I am surprised that is completely basic; here in Uruguay and Argentina under the teaching of Mitsu Inoue sensei is a lot harder, hence the level here is a bit upper than most places. Also, the girl is not good enough; no kime, no really understanding of the kata bunkai (to make the moves a bit more consistent); seems that she never used a Makiwara too.

@@gunchief0811 fella; she was not a Green belt; if you do not know please do not try to act as you are in the known.
She was a JKA hombu dojo instructor...

@@TheReverb1 your missing the point. Your acting like your superior. Not being humble. Even with you Now trying also to "put me in my place " ur displaying a lack of humility again that's my main point here Green belt , white belt or Grand master..
Shes doing something here for others to learn from
Why are u being Critical of her?
      And now critical of me?.
      I lived in Okinawa.
So let me break that down for you since ur challenging me "being in the know" fella..
Iij gave every long Martial arts history which Is why I'm even watching this video.
I never studied Shotokan and am interested in it
But I hold belts in Other Japanese Arts as well as Korean Arts. And I also Lived in Korea for a while.
      I'm a 3rd dan, in M.C.M.A.P.
I dont claim to be superior to you or anyone else.
I am a lifelong Martial practitioner of combat Art forms and am appreciative of all peoples contributions.
But humility is a foundational principle of most japanese arts and I Apprecoate that.
So for this woman here I applaud her and appreciate her showing her abilities here.
That's my main point is perhaps say something uplifting, supportive.. or constructive towards her and towards others who comment here.
As for you? God bless you continue to arrive for Martial arts excellence.
      Thanks for your input.
And for your Martial art contribution the World.

@@gunchief0811 may be you belong to the type of persons that do not accept any type of criticism or different point of views. She was a Hombu dojo instructor (like the other persons participating in the video) The title says all too; so I clicked to LEARN more however, noticed what I mentioned (others noticed as you see in the comments of this one or the other series) JKA is just diluting bit by bit If you are a Karate ka from long time you would know that the exams also are extremely diluted now.
Anyway; I ask you: Do you think that a video with what JKA exams programs should be and the way to do it would not to have kime, better stances; a bit more knowledge about what s going on with the Kata etc? Is that too selfish for you?

I'm not here to get into arguments with people on youtube...
If we ever meet you can then display your Martial arts skills in person. I can display mine.
Until then Keep practicing and improving..climb the mountain no matter what style your training under..
      Give it your best.

Improve everyday and encourage others to do the same...other than that I remove my ego from the pursuit of Martial arts skills I just want to improve everyday.
